I think it's more that our stars are more about themselves and their brands and what not. These foreign stars seem real eager and prideful to play with they're fellow countrymen. Also seems like they actually enjoy the game while ours cant wait to post on social media.

I think more of the stars opt in if Golden State wins last year and KD reups. This is probably the most wide open the NBA has been in years. I don't blame guys for skipping the world tournament. Not to mention most of our stars have done multiple summers with Team USA and racked up tons of International titles.

He looked good in his 2018 and 2017 offseason vids too. How'd that work out for him?

Melo looking pretty damn good in recent vids I know we prefer narratives though..
We forgot Hoodie Melo that quick

Was listening to NBA Radio the other day and the hosts of the show invited people to call in to talk about Melo but said they had to explain why Melo should have an NBA job without using the terms “narratives”, “blackballed” or “not better than”. Nobody who called pulled it off.

I forgot what interview i was listening to, but one coach basically said that Melo 100% deserves to still be in the league. He thinks the main reason no team is taking a chance on him is because as a coach it’s hard to look down your bench, see a HOF talent, and not put him in the game. Basically you can’t bury him on the bench for consistent games or else it’ll be a problem. On the other hand, you can do that for pretty much every other 9th to 15th guy.

he can still put up points in bunches when hot, stretch the floor, underrated passer and rebounder, can provide veteran leadership, teach these young guys some moves, known as a good teammate, still better overall than a lot of players still in the league...

wasn't that hard

Stephen a made some good points regarding this in his breakfast club interview

You know what’s hilarious...

Jamal Crawford dropped 51 points last year in an NBA game, is an amazing teammate and more than willing to just be one of the last dudes off the bench and he hasn’t been signed. But yet Melo and all these people really think the only reason he hasn’t been signed is because he’s been “blackballed” :lol

melo is a cheater and was never good. good riddance hes out the league dont feel sorry for him at all. have fun in china

Makes a lot of sense. Also, unless I missed it, Melo has never said he’d accept a bench role, right? I know he rejected the idea when he was in OKC.

There's some reporting that they're going to try to use KAT like Jokic, and KAT's been focusing on his guard skills

Not just dump ins or pick and pops but the ball handler in PnR's

KAT is so damn talented individually, but idk if he can have a Jokic like impact.

Jokic literally makes everyone around him better.

billups talking about him negatively didn't help.

Oh yeah. Forgot about that.

Considering that Billups is now the Clippers TV analyst, guess we can be pretty sure LAC isn’t signing Melo.
LOL. (Not that I thought it was a possibility anyway).
