True. But wasn't game 6 super close (2-3 points). Momentum is a big thing. If the Suns win and are up 3-2 going into game 7, that's a big blow to the Spurs psyche. We saw what those dudes did in a game 7 in 2013. Sidenote, I knew the Spurs were going to lose game 7 that year because of how dejected they looked after game 6 . Looked like they gave up.

Nash says the Suns acquiesced to all the criticism they got.They played slower. He feels like they could've won it all if they went even more extreme with their pace and space philosophies. He feels like all the outside noise made them try to play like the Spurs, which is what the Spurs wanted. He never blames the hip check. Nash always been a solid dude in my mind, even though I hated him as a Laker fan.

It's hard to play what ifs but they had HCA and they lost it when they narrowly lost without Amare

Dantoni is the reason kobe tore his achilles in 2013. He was too scared to rest him a few minutes a game during that insane stretch. If anything I'd prefer he never wins a title

Kobe was playing those minutes no matter who was coaching the team. Now if you want to talk about how the team got to the point that Kobe felt forced to play those minutes, then we can about D'Antoni.

Came in here to say what pmatic said. There was an article about that season after the fact where the trainer (Gary Vitti) mentioned how adamant Kobe was about willing he team to the playoffs that season playing 40+ MPG and ****.

I’ll never forget the quote Vitti had saying something along the lines of “If Jesus would have come down and told Kobe to play less minutes that season, Kobe would have said ‘Tell Jesus to stick to worrying about turning water into wine. I got this basketball **** on lock.” Such a ******* real one, man.
