Last I checked, Memphis let him stay at home
That's what I'm curious about, like it's been reported since the jump that both parties decided they would stay separate but if there wasn't going to be a trade was there an expectation that he'd report?

It's so hard to like this team man...

Hinkie did not die for this
Jrue did not die for this
We did not suffer through the process for this

Josh Harris is too involved
Adam Silver never should have forced the Colangelos upon us

I look at the Heat and look at the Celtics, I see cohesion and competence.

I look at our leadership team and see confusion and incompetence.

This sucks.

My guess is there probably was some sort of understanding that he wouldn't play if they were gonna be a trash team, but they've been solid though and he could be a nice piece for them. Feel like Iggy could also be a really good mentor for those young guys.

Sounds like Burks and GRob may be moved before the deadline and I can't see anything more than 2nds for those guys.

I don't think DLo gets moved until the summer at the earliest, but in this weak *** draft I'd rather just hold onto him tbh.

Man, idk about their contracts but unless it’s for cap purposes, I’d rather hold onto them than mid-to-late seconds unless the thought is that they’d be flipped as assets later on.

I agree about DLo staying on until the summer but are you saying you’d keep DLo andthe pick or just DLo?

Ben's too valuable to trade for Dlo straight up.

What about a Tobias + some pieces for Dlo? Won't happen, but doesn't that help both teams?

I actually like that trade from a for perspective. I think both teams are better off from it.

Summer 18 is when everything went downhill.

Fultz not playing vs Boston - you know the face
Colangelo saga
Brett Star Hunting comments as acting GM
Hire EB while still having Colangelo holdovers that Brett liked
Starting Fultz to make him JJ instead of moving Ben off ball

But honestly, what really screwed us up was not having the Tobi deal done sooner/before the Jimmy trade (in Nov 18 as expected). You probably get Tobi without giving up Shamet (Cov is included).

Either way, time to get rid of Brett and if it doesn’t happen soon, I’m ready for some more spiciness from the guys. Dissension in the ranks

Why do you think the Warriors would be better with that trade?

I get it’s the modern NBA but don’t you think running Steph/DLo/Klay/Dray/<Insert Center> is a bit small? I just like the size Tobi would provide. A Steph/DLo backcourt defensively...yikes.

I misunderstood your post. Thought you meant to trade him for a Top 3 pick.

Ahhhh **** no lol. But DLo and their pick are some great assets going into this summer.

Why do you think the Warriors would be better with that trade?

Offensively, I think Dlo with the Warriors will be great. Those three guards plus Draymond will be able to get buckets in a variety of ways.

It's defensively that's a problem. They give up a lot of size starting those three. Also paying three guards all that money doesn't seem logical. Tobias gives them size, and Klay gets to play his natural position at SG.

Also, I haven't watched much Philly games, so correct me if I'm wrong, hasn't Tobias been good defensively? Way easier to fit Tobias into GS, than Dlo, defensively.

And for Philly, they badly need some creators alongside Ben. Dlo can help with that immensely. They'd need to run some more pick n roll from what I've seen to really unlock Dlo. But he can also play off the ball with Simmons. He's been great off the ball this season with the Warriors. Also, the Sixers have great defenders to help Dlo.

Just my quick thoughts on this. Doubt it happens. Ultimately, I think the Warriors are looking for something bigger.
