Summer 18 is when everything went downhill.

Fultz not playing vs Boston - you know the face
Colangelo saga
Brett Star Hunting comments as acting GM
Hire EB while still having Colangelo holdovers that Brett liked
Starting Fultz to make him JJ instead of moving Ben off ball

But honestly, what really screwed us up was not having the Tobi deal done sooner/before the Jimmy trade (in Nov 18 as expected). You probably get Tobi without giving up Shamet (Cov is included).

Either way, time to get rid of Brett and if it doesn’t happen soon, I’m ready for some more spiciness from the guys. Dissension in the ranks

It would have been ideal to keep Shamet.
I've given up hope that Josh Harris, Brand and Brett can do anything to win a championship.

Even if we get rid of Brett, I still don't believe in Brand.

I get it’s the modern NBA but don’t you think running Steph/DLo/Klay/Dray/<Insert Center> is a bit small? I just like the size Tobi would provide. A Steph/DLo backcourt defensively...yikes.

Ahhhh **** no lol. But DLo and their pick are some great assets going into this summer.
Offensively, I think Dlo with the Warriors will be great. Those three guards plus Draymond will be able to get buckets in a variety of ways.

It's defensively that's a problem. They give up a lot of size starting those three. Also paying three guards all that money doesn't seem logical. Tobias gives them size, and Klay gets to play his natural position at SG.

Also, I haven't watched much Philly games, so correct me if I'm wrong, hasn't Tobias been good defensively? Way easier to fit Tobias into GS, than Dlo, defensively.

And for Philly, they badly need some creators alongside Ben. Dlo can help with that immensely. They'd need to run some more pick n roll from what I've seen to really unlock Dlo. But he can also play off the ball with Simmons. He's been great off the ball this season with the Warriors. Also, the Sixers have great defenders to help Dlo.

Just my quick thoughts on this. Doubt it happens. Ultimately, I think the Warriors are looking for something bigger.
The Underdog/DLo backcourt would definitely be undersized and would have a rough go of it defensively, however, they'd have the potential to be really, really good offensively. PnRs with DLo as the primary ball handler and Klay and Underdog spreading the floor would be incredibly difficult to defend. I just don't really think Tobias is necessarily better than DLo, and wouldn't make a trade only to get a bit taller.

DLo is younger and a more appealing trade asset too.

Its almost like working to get shots that are contested 9/10 times will lead to misses. GG Clipset.

Ballmer always looks like he’s gonna have a heart attack

For sure. Agree with everything you said. They'd be really good offensively. But you need defense to win a championship ultimately. Just throwing things out there.

Also, your hate for Curry is hilarious. Got tired of him watching him cook the Celts.

No hate for Curry at all. Simply pointing out that he's the greatest underdog story the NBA has ever seen.

He doesn't really cook the Celts like that either. I definitely remember him having one big game a couple years ago, but other than that low 20s or less.

6 minutes before a field goal make. This is a product of shot profile.

anybody else got a feeling nothing big is gonna happen at all at the trade deadline?
