The Knicks put together a plan for summer of 2019, struck out all the way signed a MULTITUDE of players to one year deals with the expectation of trading them....
they have traded one..... and the return is what may as well be a second round pick & two unproven players....... this is a trash turnaround

I like Morris. He’s a good defender and shooting really well from three. Really good player. But Idk I can’t see him having that much of an impact in the playoffs.
obviously I’d rather have Morris over Kuz but idk this doesn’t swing things for me like it probably does for others.

Regardless of what decisions the Knicks made, people are going to fall on the negative side of things mainly because no decision the Knicks have made has really panned out in decades.
I'm glad that the Knicks seem to be staying on course with a slow rebuild. Morris is cool, but he isn't going to be here longterm. He's a complimentary piece on a good team, and we're so far from being a good team that it makes the most sense to get whatever value out of him that you can. I like picking up another first round pick for a player on a one year deal regardless of how strong the draft is projected to be because Marcus Morris was never brought here to be a long term piece.
But logic.
