The Knicks haven't given us any indication that they'll be able to do anything with their assets.
Of course I can't speak on the offers they've gotten but Mook is worth more than that.

Shamet was never going to be on the table. Morris was not in their future plans whatsoever.

But the Clippers don’t need to make this deal. They can move forward with the roster they have now and still be favorite. So why should they give up a good young player who they like a lot for a guy that might be a half a season rental?
