There nowhere near being a playoff team but Drummond is gonna improve them by a few wins... making their draft pick worse.

TT was having a damn near career year & they got nothing for him on an expiring deal

You would think that they would at least wanna make K.Love look good & showout for a trade next offseason.... but now he's logjammed playing next to two bigs & shoot first PG's

why would this shock you? the rockets making a play for drummond would be the most shocking thing of the trade deadline considering 1) it's probably not even possible under the CBA and 2) we just traded our starting center because he can't spread the floor for our stars to have open driving lanes.

we were never going to trade for him. we don't have the assets or means under the CBA to do so. our only real avenue to TT was acquiring him after a buyout. even then, given the way we're going to play, he would platoon with tucker during minutes when russ was off the floor.
