This is what I posted on Jan 1
Every time I watch the Sixers play it seems like Embid is the PG and Simmons is the PF/C

Why would I not think the Celtics could make the ECF?

I think there is a strong possibility that they wind up on the other side of the bracket from both Milwaukee and Philly. They are flat out better than Miami and are probably pretty even with Toronto. Give that, I certainly think they have a chance of getting there.

Cs have the 5th best record in the league despite playing the majority of the season missing somewhere between 2-4 rotation players most nights. They are only 3 games behind the Lakers, who they just so happened to beat the living dog **** out of, yet you talk about the Cs as they are some struggling team and the Lakers as world beaters, which is absolutely hysterical given how they've played against the league's top teams.

At the end of the day, neither team has a chance of winning a championship, so it's really all moot.

Just last month the Lakers were "frauds" for their SOS...... Yet now the Celtics are tied for the third easiest schedule played.... it's crickets, nobody is questioning their status among the "top teams" funny how that works. ESPECIALLY considering that they play in the East.

they are only second to the Bucks in games they've played against below .500 rosters... Their 24-7

the other top seeds
Bucks 32-1
Lakers 24-2
Toronto 29-2
Clippers 22-6
Nuggets 21-8

Ya'll have played trash teams for a majority of the season & even in that ya'll still aren't beating teams your supposed to beat.

I’m more of a believer in Wiggins in a GS uniform than I am in a DLo/KAT duo. Really think GS won that trade, but we’ll see.
Idk. Wiggins hasn’t shown he can shoot nor play defense

Ratsull and KAT are not ideal defensively, but are you that low on them being able to add defense?

How do you see gsw winning the deal exactly and how do you see Wiggins fitting in

Celtics are 5-2 against the current top 4 seeds in the East and 2-2 against the current top 4 seeds in the West thus far. Haven't played the Rockets or Jazz yet though.

Lakers are 2-4 against current top 4 seeds in the West, and 2-3 against current top 4 seeds in the East.

Lakers have done a good job this year by not slipping against trash teams, which is commendable, but they've also been put in their place by the top tier teams in the league. Celtics seem to play up/down to their competition.

Again though, both teams going to go home before the finals.

And 1-3 vs the Sixers. Don’t run lol

I think GS would’ve preferred Roco to Wiggins but they were too late to the party

I thought Roco made much more sense and was always expecting that trade to happen. But good for Minny to get rid of that Wiggins contract.

I’m more so leaning on that 2021 pick in a stacked draft. But also good players seem to rot in Minnesota. I think Curry, Klay, Green can mold Wiggins into a more complete player and not just a volume chucker. Everyone wants them, but it seems like it’s harder and harder to find good wing defenders. Its not surprising the Wolves win games when KAT sits, now they add arguably one of the worst defensive point guards. I’m not buying that duo helping you win games.

Yeah y'all not a top 4 seed. Bad matchup for the Cs. Lakers also haven't beaten Philly though.

Lakers played them once at Philly where they’re damn near unbeatable. It was the last game of a road trip too. Don’t put that much stock into it.

That first round pick is top 3 protected and even if the wolves don’t make the playoffs I would say it’s a safe bet the pick won’t be a top 5 probably even top 10

It is reasonable to say the wolves need more pieces, which is why I was asking if you are that low on them adding to the roster

And also missing 2 starters lol but yea we getting smacked when we play y’all in LA

For sure. They're incredibly hard to beat at home, which is why from a Cs perspective, it's really important to get a higher seed than them. They do however fit the profile of the teams the Lakers struggle with though (multiple athletic defensive wings).
