I was watching this video about TD2 the other day. He was projected to be a mid 2nd rounder and he told teams not to waste their pick on him cuz he wasnt gonna sign a 2way contract. He ended up going to summer league and balled out and raps offered him a guaranteed contract.

OG's defensive metrics (PIPM/Real Plus Minus) aren't really that stand out but the eye test seems like he's one of the better iso defenders in the league

MIL was smart to pounce on Williams. Even if he isn't an entire upgrade on Illasova, any of TOR, BOS or MIA could have used him for a matchup against MIL
