The Los Angeles Clipper fanbase believes in moral victories folks:

"We still up 2-1" they said (Ha. Ha. Ha.), while completely oblivious to the fact they got thoroughly dominated inside by a team that couldn't hit a three to save their lives.

Which means, LAC still couldn't stop LAL knowing damn well LAL was going to pound the ball inside all game cause they was cold from deep.

Lol

Keep the excuses coming....

"It's only March tho."

I will say I saw quite a few comments online and my timeline and Bron getting all the credit for the win tonight. Bradley and AD evidently were no shows and didn't do ****.

Bums.
I will PayPal you a fafillion dollars if you can find me even one comment saying that Lebby gets all the credit.

Just kidding, I don't have a fafillion dollars, but I will give you a hat tip and a firm handshake if I ever meet you in person.

Just one comment. Tweet. Anything.

How the Lebron-led ShowtimeLakers are going to frustrate the "Bad Boys," "tough guy" Clippers should they face in the WCF.

what year did the league start actually enforcing the 5 second back to the basket violation? Feel like Magic spent half of his possessions backing dudes down from mid court in the second half of games.

If the clippers win the next game, does this one matter? If Lakers win the series in the playoffs, would it matter if the clippers went 3-1 in the season?

This one game. Relax jumpmanfromLA

It's all over ig man. I wasn't gassing. All over it. Not the verbatim 'lebron gets all credit' but all the posts are about bron. The posts are actually about Bron for the weekend and how he 'locked' Giannis and kawhi, regardless of their numbers.

It's truly all over ig. It's not as blatant as saying it's all Bron, but Bron is all the posts are about

Cant remember the year, but I can say Magic was never called for that violation as far as ai remember.

Magic didnt need 5 seconds to back someone down in the low block. He was decisive.

It's the Barkley rule.

Are Lou Williams and Doc on ig? Because they bigged him up, and I don't know if you're keeping score at home, but they literally just played him.

I mean, he's pretty damn good, bro. I know you hate him, but he's decent at basketball. 🤷‍♂️

Bron phenomenal. I'm not that type of hater. I talk ****, but I appreciate what I'm seeing. Idk how Bron does a lot of this ****. He's really become much more than a physical freak. Much more than just a bull in a china shop. Mad impressive as a bball fan. The growth.

Still not a fan.

But he can hoop fasho.

Right? It’s crazy!

I’m in my late 20’s so the only reason I’m familiar with Magic’s game is because my dad recorded 100’s of laker games On VHS from about ‘84-‘91 and I spent an entire summer in high school watching every single one.

I tried to pull a magic backing down a defender in high school and the refs called me on that so quick lol. I just thought because Magic did it it must be legal.

He also carried the ball as bad as Iverson and never got called for that either...

He’s the most famous athlete in the world lol. You expect AB to have stans like Bron? Come on man. People in this this thread and the Laker thread gave props to AD and AB. All 3 was hooping.

30 pages I gotta catch up on? I was watching the game on my phone on the road so know we won. 30 pages?

Cliffsnotes of the excuses and sidestepping, please.

( lawdog1 lawdog1 , I'm particularly interested in your take. You seem to be the less blinded by narratives, but this was a Clipper game, not the Bucks, which obviously isn't your team. This is your team, so I'm a little more curious.)

To me, the game came down to a few things:

1. Lakers dictated pace of play and slowed the game down, which was to their advantage;

2.Lakers played harder - won in 50/50 balls, drawn charges, etc.;

3. FT shooting flipped in LAL’s advantage. Clippers missed 9, Lakers were better.

LeBron’s going to get most of the credit and deservedly so, but to me the stars on each side played to a wash. It was the non-stars who pushed the game in the Lakers favor, mainly Bradley and Kuzma.

-Lakers did a good job on rotating and help defense on Lou Will.
-Marcus Morris had a bad game.
-Zubac got into foul trouble and was a non factor.
-Pat Bev got out played by Avery Bradley.

We gotta get to a point where the best thing Kuzma did involved actual basketball instead of putting an imaginary crown on Bron’s head. He has to play better in April, May and June.

Kuzma didn’t score much, but he made a few really important defensive plays.
