imho...nba has to do something about charge calls.

calls that are clearly blocking fouls are charges

clear charges are blocking fouls.

calling charges when the defender in in the restricted

then calling blocking fouls when a different defender in is the exact same spot

calling charges on guys in the air...literally cant state this enough.

whole system needs to be revamped.

Anyone notice that in first half when when McGee and Dwight were playing, the Clippers were outhustling the Lakers and getting a ton of offensive boards, but when the Lakers went small in the 2nd, the opposite became the case?

Yup. Clips were closing out and reacting quicker when the Lakers went into Javale in the post or tried alley-oops. Dwight was just a non factor.

Good 2nd half adjustment by Vogel to stick Kieff and Kuz in at the right times during the 2nd half. Also AD got going with his mid range game in the key 3rd quarter.

AD close to unguardable when the mid range is working. And he’s been shooting about 44% from 3 for the last 16 games I believe. He keep that up and we good. 27 a night from Bron and around the same from AD is great

Damn bro, we ain't have no sauce in 05..the internet never forgets

Josh Smith looking like

These weren't official jerseys. They were just Nike's homage to the team's history with their own twist.

Yeah I know.

Kobe only wore it for the Slam cover.

Lakers should bring back the Hollywood Nights unis remixed with that cursive "Los Angeles"

I am FLOORED by OKC this year. I figured easily they would flip/buy out CP3, try to flip Gallo and/or Adams and stack even more picks on cap space + young pieces.

These ****ers flirting with the 4 seed. AND lined up for a bright future. *Tips hat*

Completely agree.

Excellent job by Donovan this year.

What’s the case for Lebron NOT WINNING MVP now?

Honestly he bodied the best team record wise Friday night and the only other threat to the Lakers in the West on Sunday afternoon.

It literally looked like this:

796F2195-A53E-4481-813F-94F45B23AA5D.gif

Giannis is outstanding and he’s got at least one more MVP in his future but Lebron snatched the trophy out of his hands the other night.

It would be unfortunate and embarrassing to not give Lebron the proper credit and respect that he deserves for his performance this season.

The season series between the Bucks and Lakers is 1-1 and LeBron played like trash the first game. That game the other night was meaningless in the MVP race. LeBron is averaging the least points since his rookie season right now while playing with the best or second best player of his career who’s actually averaging more PPG than him while also being a DPOY candidate. Giannis is averaging 30-14-6 and the frontrunner for DPOY playing on a team that may win 70 games while their second best player is Khris Middleton. This is pretty simple if you aren’t a Laker/LeBron fan or you aren’t a daily First Take/Undisputed watcher.

“Meaningless”

Any other day, it’s “Milwaukee can win without Giannis”, now it’s “Their second best player is Middleton”

These last two games and the next 4 will only strengthen his MVP case. And who’s to tell how serious Giannis injury is? That can change the whole discussion

Yes, it was meaningless in the MVP discussion to an actual intelligent non-biased fan of basketball. The season series is 1-1 with both teams winning on their homecourt. Giannis played great in both games. LeBron played like trash the first game. The Bucks also just lost to the Suns last night without Giannis while getting 140 points dropped on them.

Intelligent huh? would any other intelligent basketball fan claim that the 76ers would have a top 3 record in the league?

You can act like the MVP race isn’t partly narrative based all you want. That’s on you. You can also act like how Bron has been playing since the All Star Game and defeated two teams that everybody said we couldn’t beat and our upcoming schedule doesn’t contribute to his case for winning it being strengthened all you want. Whether he does or not is another case , but the case for it has been increased

The Bucks swept the season series vs the Clippers with one of those wins being by 28 points. That win vs the Clips yesterday was the Lakers first in three games. This is honestly all so simple to any non-biased fan.

21 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists in a 7 point loss = "trash" :rolleyes
32 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists in a 10 point loss while looking like he just started playing basketball every single time LeBron guarded him = "great" :rolleyes

I don't really GAF about Bron getting an MVP award, but i must say it is rather interesting that THEY claim that the Lakers are bad w/o Lebron, have a pedestrian bench, & can't create offense w/o em etc etc.

Yet the team might actually finish with the best record in the league.... If you somehow do share that view...... it would seem disingenuous to then turn around and act as if Lebron doesn't have a case for MVP.

Also as someone who called BS when they were trying to drum up Lebron for MVP during the Cleveland days, a big part of it was he was playing in the East, which has improved slightly but still isn't that good.

Giannis "The real MVP" Antetokounmpo is playing in a conference where 7 teams are below .400 and 5 teams are above .600
LeBron is playing in a conference where 2 teams are below .400 and 7 teams are above .600

Gotta love how years of arguing that LeBron is not the MVP because he's playing in the weaker conference has come back to bite the haters in the ***. :pimp:

Raptors, Celtics, Sixers, Heat > any team in the West outside of LA
