Doesnt even matter if home-road crowd is 50-50 or 80-20.

Fact of the matter is, most of America including non-fans of these 2 teams would rock with the Lakers over the Clippers in a 7-game playoff series even if they played all 7 games at the Artesia High gym.

Yeeeeah no.

lebron has reached the "batman" zone

In any hypothetical battle between fictional characters Batman always wins because everyone assumes Batman will always find a way.

Lebron always will make the finals out of the east because people just assume Lebron will always find a way.

When in reality it took a ton of lucky breaks that last year and that east was significantly weaker. Than the 2019 east.

I don't think anyone denies this either. Lakers are like the Cowboys in that regard.

The man was blind, thats how he invented the skyhook. He thought it was 10 _s guarding him

I must be one of the few that loves that Lonzo Ball is actually a good player now. Dude put the time and work in and its paying off. :pimp:
The next level for Lonzo now is...

Let's see you do this next season consistently and I wanna see young buck play a full 82, set that example for Zion to follow

Lonzo should be the Leader of the Pels not Zion.

The media sucks. Bron wins two tough regular season games and all of a sudden they're playing narratives of stripping championships.

What about how Bron needed to make a superteam to win 1? Or how Ray had to hit the clutchest shot in NBA history to win another? Or how he needed injuries and suspensions to win a 3rd?

**** works both ways.

Moral of the story is every team/player needs some luck to win it all.

The new narrative already starting to spread, in light of Avery Bradley's surprise 24 point performance.

"Avery ain't gonna get you 25 every night. The Lakers need that consistent 3rd scorer otherwise they may not even reach the Finals."

Chess, not checkers

Pelinka and Vogel got errbody confused af.

There’s also the fact that Kawhi teams are 1-1 v LeBron teams when they’ve faced in the playoffs, so the reasoning for assuming a LeBron East team would have beaten last year’s Raptors team eludes me a bit.

But this kind of hypothetical is dumb to begin with, so I’ll just let 1st Take continue to 1st Take and not worry about it.

The shot doctor in New Orleans seems to be the real deal unlike the Spurs overrated shot doctor.

LeBron in 2017 and 2018: Forced to face the KD-Curry-Klay and pre-washed Draymond Warriors, aka the most stacked team of all time. All healthy. Not a scratch on them.
LeBron leaves the following season and suddenly KD and Klay go down and Draymond becomes a washed version of himself.

Yeah, it's LeBron who is the lucky one... :rolleyes

Not to mention that lucky set of circumstances back in 2015 when both Kyrie and Love got injured. He really won the lottery that year.

Lakers will be tough if they consistently knock down shots like AB was doing yesterday, because Bron will undoubtedly find the open man.

The popular Clipper sentiment seems to be that Doc is "saving Jamychal and Patterson for later."

Clippers mentality & mantra all season long from Ballmer, The fans, The logo, Doc, Kawhi, PG, and Pat Bev has been: "Just wait until the playoffs when we can flip that switch"

Nobody in the NBA has controlled and dictated the outcome of games the way Bron does since prime Magic, Bird, and Michael. Maybe Shaq.
