honestly i ain't really that scared. i think a lot of this has been sharpened by the media and such, but it's still necessary to take precaution as you never know who's who. old and young people should be afraid the most, less so avg healthy humans

We talked about this in the coronavirus thread but just because you're not scared of dying from the virus doesn't mean you can't pass it to someone who could

I don't want to catch it cuz I think I'm surrounded by too many people who'd be vulnerable.

So far, it seems that the virus is milder in children. The populations most vulnerable are still older ppl and those already with respiratory issues.

Unless he met up with some overseas folks recently or there’s cases in Utah/wherever else they been on this road trip, he’s prob got a cold or a stomach bug or something. Overly cautious to the max.

There’s been several cases where there’s been no known contact with anyone from overseas. Plenty of people are walking around with it without knowing.

I would hope that any people that had any sort of higher risk would take care of themselves but let’s be real people are dumb. there might be a good amount of asymptomatic folks out there but I don’t want to jump to conclusions we already got mass hysteria toilet paper hoarding out in the streets i haven’t heard of any confirmed or suspicious cases in Utah (that they’re releasing to the public) so I figure it’s something more common.

nah. I’m a (relatively) healthy adult. It has a very high recovery rate and damn near all of the fatalities have been elderly/immunocompromised.

Not really. With how ignorant people are (Gobert) this thing is bound to spread. This is really showing how bad (or little) people actually protect/clean themselves
