Their post season splits are way worse than Lou’s. Even with FVV being great in the finals, he shot sub 40% throughout the playoffs

you bringing up the media like they haven’t been championing the Lakers depth. MLGA just arguing just to argue

Nah not like FVV & Andre Igoudala especially have changed series through their defense... also FVV and Iggy aren't on the floor solely to score the basket, they bring other things to the game.

The clippers need Lou Will to score buckets when he's on the floor. that is honestly his only purpose on the floor when he's not doing that he's a complete negative. so again i don't know why your comparing him to FVV & Iggy, two completely different roles & expectations.

and as usual you dudes are just straight up lying. The general consensus in here and through most of the media/blogs/podcast are that the Clippers have put together a much deeper team than any of the contenders in the West.

A trio of Beverley, Shamet, & Lou Will on a team that is already lacking playmakers & rim protection isn't as ideal as the media has made it....

I’ve been a FVV supporter for a minute but this dude didn’t change a series with his defense. He defended extremely well but GSW was down to one man.

He defended extremely well on one of the best offensive players ever.... you compared him to Lou Will who is a complete negative on defense at all times... Which is fine if your contributing on offense.

Lou will has contributed 12/2/3 on 38/26/80.. but somehow this is the guy people are rushing to talk about in terms of depth and being a vital player on a championship squad.

Yea I don't know what people are expecting from Lou. Last time he played with another ball dominant player was on the rockets with harden. I'll let yall look up his numbers from that time on your own. Lou is not an off ball guy, not a low volume guy and he legit might be the worst defender in the NBA. Also had a negative net rating. So if he's not shooting every time down the court, he's not helping your team. Clippers are relying on shamet to take another step in his second year and if you look at last year's playoffs there just flat out weren't any rookies/sophomores that had any type of real impact.

Beverly is already hella overrated but he's certainly not slowing down anybody he would be guarding in the playoffs. The way people act like they have a big 3 on defense with Pat Bev being included in that is pretty funny. That's why I think you might as well use his contract as trade bait and upgrade the frontcourt. Harrell might have to be traded too because his contract is up this summer and I don't think you want to lock yourself in to having him as your 3rd max

The only national media figure that has given the Lakers credit for their "depth" has been Windhorst. And I think that's primarily because it wasn't like last summer's roster.

finally gonna have some dope depth on this roster

Don't really see a need for Lou Will to be in the Clippers closing lineup with Kawhi and PG out there. Shamet would be my guess, along with those two, Bev, and Trezz.
This the reason I'm saying Lou bout to be traded for a big man who can defend the paint. He is expendable with Shamet being the spot up long distance specialist that every championship team needs.

Lou will will be exactly what he has been...a professional bucket getter off the bench.

Hard to hate on Pat bev when 25 other teams in the league would be happy to have him right now.

If Lou will is cooking, everybody would be glad to take a back seat in the 4th and watch him work, trust.

Ringer NBA Show guys were talking about him on their pod last week. If he's healthy, he all of the sudden becomes a very good rotational PF for them, or is immediately a good trade chip.

I think they are going to end up with Beal at some point this year. They have the mix of contracts and young talent that can make a deal work easily.

Which is perfectly fine that the rest of the league (and the world) don't know it yet.

Everyone bout to witness how the extremely high level of play does not drop off from 1-12 with this squad

People sleepin on Dwight Howard and Avery Bradley. Definitely underestimating Cook and Caruso for sure.

Someone save this post for June.
