Just messing with you. Having said, that...this is the same man who told Richard Jefferson he wouldn't get fired from ESPN because RJ was friends with him. He also said that ESPN needed to release the Last Dance docuseries ASAP and regardless of whether they had plans to or not, they credited LeBron in a tweet.

Whether we like it or not, what LeBron says goes a long way and the media plays into his words.

I'll also add that LeBron is very intelligent when he speaks and just about every statement and its wording is intentional. Hell, even his movements are orchestrated with the same thought. Not a knock at all because it's a skill I respect the hell out of in anyone but he knows what he's doing with a statement like that

I do, but you have a gross misunderstanding of semantics if you think that was a response on semantics.

Differentiating between a desire and a push is not a matter of semantics, though; they're literally 2 completely different things. Arguing semantics is arguing between 2 things that are extremely similar and the argument is an attempt to not conflate those 2 things. A desire and a push are not 2 similar things.

Possible. I'll even acknowlege that it's likely. But as it stands, it was just a statement of his personal feelings. I mean, that's just what it was.

I mentioned "I like cake" earlier. If Lebron said those 3 words, would you be saying the same thing? "He's pushing for cake to be the official snack of the NBA. He knows what he's doing when he says that."

No, right? It's just his personal feelings. Now before this whole thing really blew up and he said he wouldn't play in an empty arena, that was a push, as there was a little bit of a threat there. When Kobe said 'If Derek goes, I go,' that was a push.

'I really like Derek Fisher' is not a push.
'I like cake' is not a push.
'I don't feel like I'll have closure on the season' is not a push.

Yeah, pretty wild. I follow a few federal agencies on Twitter since, due to Corona, they are continually making policy modifications that impact my clients. All the announcements always start, “Under President Trump’s leadership” or “At President Trump’s direction.” I know this is an unprecedented situation, but I don’t recall agencies under the two previous presidential administrations using that kind of language so constantly.

It was dependent on how the season ended, but I think you bring the main guys back, use the MLE on someone and hope for incremental improvement from Kuzma/Caruso. Maybe get a ring chaser for the minimum.
