Capela is absolutely a useful piece to the team. I just don’t think him and Collins playing together is going to be their best option. My guess is they close games with Tray, Collins, and 3 wings. They really need to make the most out of this draft pick. Especially with the new Collins contract on deck and then Tray the following year.
Yup both Schlenk and Rosas are under pressure in the draft and in the off season to make real impactful winning upgrades

I have faith in both of them to get it done

If your big is a go to offensive option he needs to be a capable on ball and help defender. Legit if one of your best players is a big and doesn’t play defense you’ll never win. It’s why I can’t stand behind players who put up ridiculous empty stats like KAT, Cousins, etc.

Thats not taking away from how good they are, I’m talking from strictly a winning standpoint.

I’m not trolling, I’m speaking facts

Yeah with Dedmon I'm pretty sure... but Dedmon and Capela are different as well
Think I said this a couple months ago when he got traded back to ATL, but Deadmon is a better fit with Collins than Capela. More versatile defensively and can space the floor better.

Yeah this is the second time I forgot they got Dedmon back 😂 well they got pieces now Schlenk and Pierce need to put the puzzle together

They desperately need another ball handler and could use some additional shooting

Capela is much more athletic and a capable lob threat. Quicker on help defense. Dedmond disappeared in Sacramento. Good player, but product of a system.

Based on advanced metrics lol
Hmm. One of the rare times I feel like something's sus about advanced stats

I know KAT improved somewhat defensively this year but I subscribe to Krcyznski pod and they aren't really talking about his defense like it's anything special and they regularly talked about his lulls. On the other hand it seems like KP is generally regarded as an exceptional paint defender/rim protector
