Overall KAT vs KP I've always liked KAT better. More fluid and his flame throwing from 3 this year was something to behold

I try to imagine what Dallas would be like if they swapped. Close call there imo

Regarding Larry Bird, Simmons even admits that he didn't have much competition at that position during his career. He said once Rodman came along (he mentioned this in his book, so it's not new), he shut Bird's "country-*** down". Sometimes, it's all about timing with your career. But, with proper training and all, Bird would thrive at any point.

I still don’t think anyone can say, TBH. He was injured for a long time and still figuring out how to coexist with Luke before **** went sideways.

At some point, that's got nothing to do with KP being overrated though, that just signals there's a wealth of talent

I honestly could see KP being an All-Star next year just like all those other guys. They're all capable imo

Side note: I remember when Vucci was rumored to go to Dallas in the summer and mostly everyone down voted it... but he is definitely talented in his own right. Could easily be an All-Star in a given year

Porzingis missed a year and a half. He came back this year and was on a playoff team. His numbers and results on the Knicks were comparable to what KAT has done on the Wolves.

KAT definitely has prettier numbers. There's no doubt about that

imo KAT has more potential to be the #1 than KP based on the fact that KAT can create more for himself than KP can

Defensively I still think KP is superior but the offense of KAT makes me lean towards him

HOWEVER, if KP can start draining these wide open 3's he's consistently getting then it's a new ball game

porzingis has been hurt every year. When he does play, he can’t post up and he’s not the shooter people think he is. He blocks shots but he doesn’t rebound. Again, a 7-3 guy being a career 43% shooter ain’t it. And it’s not like he’s been lights out from 3 either.

KAT does EVERYTHING better. Look at the post I made comparing their careers. Even the famed defensive advantage KP has was proven to be false.
