We see you’re angle here Nick Wright.

You remain the very worst :smh:

You see it? Great. Now it's time for you to refute it. Except you can't. Unless we're talking about some conjecture bull **** that is bound to get thumbs up from fellow Jordan fan boys/LeBron haters.

A couple other wings MJ had to contend with - Glenn Rice and Grant Hill. Those guys were decent.

What are the greatest teams MJ beat in a playoff series?

The Barkley Suns
Malone-Stockton Jazz
Payton-Kemp Sonics
Ewing Knicks
Shaq-Penny Magic
Reggie Miller Pacers

Interesting how not a single one of these great teams could exploit the two seasons the Bulls didn't win in the 90s to win a title. And this was during an era when Hakeem won a ring with the weakest supporting cast of all time.

You’re discrediting Dream’s dominance on both ends of the court to tear down Michael Jordan in what I perceive to be, based on your previous posts in this forum, a sick attempt to balance out the LeBron vs MJ debate.

I don’t know what part of the world you’re in but wherever it is, it’s too damn early for this.

Right. *****s in here, just shooting the **** about 90s players....and here he goes :lol.

So these two dudes can give vivid details to the entire world of other celebrities and athletes smoking weed, drinking and partying and everybody in here will love it but if I do the same thing with one of my experiences around celebrities just telling some people on Niketalk I’m considered a chatty patty

darthska darthska do we have any thoughts on this?

It's a weak angle, 'If you're speaking on it you must be hiding something', but... how are your beaches looking? 👀 It's people out there protesting and saying 'Eff social distancing.' Other people. 👀 Be safe, dude. 😬

He mentions these teams who squandered the two years MJ missed

Sonics literally made the Finals the year MJ came back
Utah made the Finals two consecutive years MJ came back
Knicks made the Finals while MJ was out
Orlando made the Finals while MJ was out
Pacers forced Bulls to the brink in 98

You can't discredit how good those teams were because they never won a title. Titles aren't that easy to come by

That's like going to the 2000's Blazers and Kings teams and ****ting on them for not winning a title post Lakers 3 peat. Or going to 2010's OKC Thunder and ****ting on them for not taking advantage of the second Laker run and post Heatles breakup

If you were to do that then I guess Lakers, Heat didn't have difficult paths to their titles either

This is probably one of the weirdest criticisms I've ever heard of an athlete. 😂 I know it's a super common criticism with Russy. Still weird.

Why is it weird? It’s just a way of saying Russ seemed to prioritize making the play to get his trip-dub numbers over what might have been a more winning play and his teams suffered for it. I don’t see anything weird about it.

Apparently he had a cakewalk each championship year.

I know you're trying to use sarcasm as a defensive mechanism, but compared to other eras? Yes, it was a relative cake walk due to the fact that he didn't beat a single historically great team during the 6 championship runs.

The 1970s are generally known as the weakest era in basketball history because it had 8 different champions, but if you replace the Bulls championships with the opponent that gave them the most trouble during each playoff run, this is what the list of champions you get:

1990: Pistons
1991: Lakers
1992: Knicks, maybe Blazers
1993: Suns
1994: Rockets
1995: Rockets
1996: Sonics
1997: Jazz
1998: Pacers
1999: Spurs

9 different champions in 10 seasons.

And for the record, I don't think that 90s had bad players. Hell, a team of the best players from 90s would probably beat the best players from the 2010s (not because of Jordan, but because the 90s bigs would **** all over the 10s), but the elite players, with the exception of Jordan and Pippen, were spread all over different teams. Whereas in 2016 you literally had the second and third best players in the league joining forces to create the greatest team in NBA history.
