Skip got a camel toe.

Jamal Magloire, Antonio Davis, Zydraunus Ilgauskas up there for worst all stars too. Of course, that was all back when the L felt they had to shoehorn positions in there. ORL Jameer Nelson made it before too. Josh Howard even, was borderline 20ppg but his quarter break down was ridiculous. He scored like 17 in the first half, leading me to believe he smokes weed at half time.

The older I've gotten the more I hope we never find out more about the first retirement and the gambling stuff. It would put such black eye on basketball that's really not worth it. Let it all stay buried. No one start talking on their deathbeds, no one go looking for a payday, let it stay the way it is now.

If everything that is rumoured to have been a part of this scandal is true, then MJ has suffered enough and paid more than what was necessary to resolve a gambling debt and we don't need this anymore.

Magic was just on First Take discussing Zeke and John Stockton. Actually pretty insightful.

Talks about how Zeke had a next level that Stockton didn't really have and how he had the ability to be a dominant scorer if it was needed, on top of being able to orchestrate the offense to the highest degree.

It's not even a debate , back in 92' Stockton never made a finals yet and didn't have the assist and steals record from longevity yet

I agree. Stockton was really only picked because they knew he wouldn't cause any problems.

The way Magic talks about Zeke though solidifies his spot as the 2nd or 3rd best PG of all time, to me.

It would be a lot easier to take old timers opinions on Isiah seriously if he was like was like

a dead bang lock all-NBAer or had like lots of top 5 NBA MVP finishes.

but he didn't really.

ANNND if even if you really do believe that Isiah had a higher peak than Stockton, there is no argument that IN 1992...John Stockton was a better player than Isiah Thomas.

I think people totally exaggerate the degree of injustice leaving Isiah off the team was.

Like yeah Larry Bird was done, but he's Larry ******* Bird. :lol

Isiah Thomas is NOT the caliber of star or player of Larry Bird. Larry Bird can have a memorial spot.

But i don't see why Isiah HAS to get one, especially given that in 1992 STOCKTON WAS THE BETTER PLAYER.

osh kosh bosh osh kosh bosh : Talking out his a**

im just stating the facts.

Isiah Thomas only had

1 Top 5 MVP award finish.
5 All NBA finishes.

but all these old timers want us to believe that he's no doubt the second greats PG of all time.

If he was so great how come yall didn't seem to think so at the time?

and there is no doubt that Stockton was a better player in 92, Isiah in the process of seriously falling off.

maybe so. but not in 1992.

Isiah was the face of one of the 4 teams that had really mattered in the modern era going into that Olympics. He had made 11 straight all star games. It's not like he was washed up. He's obviously not Magic or Bird, but if those guys were going to be on the team (Magic was out of the league and Bird basically had a broken back and finished his final season), he should've been there too.

Anytime you bring up Stockton or Rocky Maricano some white cats start typing with their shirts off.

well im not white.

that's arguable.

if you are going to have memorial selections, I think it's totally reasonable to draw the line at Larry Bird.

my ultimate point is that it's not an injustice,

it's totally reasonble to say. Isiah washed, Isiah not as good as bird, and isia is an *******, so no Isiah on the team.

Let's hide the truth to protect a fairytale for grown men. Sure.
