RE: Barkley, I feel like in these days, they would NEVER refer back that far as they did with Barkley dating back to AUburn. (And they DAMN sure wouldn't show clips of IT).

Early 2000's TNT / TBS was really good. I basically caught the tail end of NBA on NBC coverage (00'-02') so what NBA on NBC was for a lot of people, this was it for me

HIM HIM doesn’t actually hate LeBron though. The post you quoted was sarcasm. But he does genuinely feel that LeBron’s Taco Tuesday schtick was racially insensitive. Even people we like do things we don’t like sometimes.
 
Real question though: has Lebbers put out a Taco Tuesday video since his trademark application got rejected? I don’t think so...sore loser... :wink:
 


This has got to be the most vicious elbow I have ever seen in an NBA game. The elbow of Metta looks tame compared to this.

Of course I was being sarcastic :lol:. But to your point, it’s interesting that people assume I don’t like LeBron because I call out something I don’t like about him. He’smy favorite player ever and the GOAT imo but the speedy gonzalez accent, “ay ay ay ay”, sombrero, etc is a bit over the top and offensive. I don’t think he means it in an offensive way but I, and other people of Mexican culture, find it offensive.

The “racist” Thing is a running joke in here from last season when people would mention me every Tuesday and tease me about LeBron’s new video. Then I would come in here and call Bron racist. I don’t think LeBron is actually racist. But it makes me cringe to see him do all that and then have people on ESPN and social media posting videos of themselves doing the same speedy gonzalez accents and wearing panchos, sombreros etc :lol:

Now, Steph? Oh, I hate him.
