Is it too late for Bron to develop a mid range game?
In addition...CJ McCollum
Myrie
Devin Booker
CP3
Beal
all shot over 40% from 10-19 feet. Really the low one was Beal but Middleton was high above 15 feet.
the mid range ain’t dead will never be dead.
Why can't ****** be happy with Jordan being a 28-32/6/5 guy on 49/32/80 while still being elite on defense. That would be the best player in the L.
We can't even be reasonable.
We gotta go to ****ing 45 ppg LOL you're doing Jordan a disservice by turning him into Paul bunyon * (@nickmaz96 ) instead of the best basketball player ever.
Should have said better mid range game. Let me edit it.what makes you think Bron ain’t shooting mid range jumpers?
Should have said better mid range game. Let me edit it.
In addition...
DeRozan
Lou Will
Russ
Jamal Murray
DLo
BI
Buddy
All of those guys shoot 3.5 or more mid range shots per game at a 42% clip or better.
You're doing my guy Paul a disservice by reducing him to a foot ailment. We gotta go to ****ing 45 ppg LOL you're doing Jordan a disservice by turning him into Paul bunyon * (@nickmaz96 ) instead of the best basketball player ever.
MJ was great enough on his own. He doesn't need all this extra stuff.
LOL @ Calling what was done here being "MATH."So they started with his highest scoring seasons in the '80s, used his 3P% from '96 with a shortened 3 point line, and used the pace # from the '98 season for some reason.
Yeah, this is why I don't watch these types of shows.
Nobody is arguing that Jordan isn't a great mid range player. The shots aren't going to be "open" for him if he's shooting 12 per game though. And MJ still shooting at minimum twice as much at these cats from that range and at damn near 50% when he didn't have all his athleticism.
NBA facilities being able to test asymptomatic guys is a step towards playing. Little by little these bits of info leak out. It's gonna happen.
Well at his ATHLETIC prime, it WASN'T a wrap (shooting wise) because he hadn't developed into the shooter he was during his final 2 years with CHI.Just did a quick NBA stats look on some of the players that were listed: the percentage of their points that came from midrange the 2019 season and then their career highs most of which came at minimum 4 years ago:
CJ: 20%
Kyrie: 18%
Booker: 15%
Beal: 14%
Derozan: 27%
KD: 25%
Kawhi: 19%
CP0: 15%
Again in 97 MJ was at 43% of his points coming from midrange at almost 50% from the field. KD is the only one of those guys even close to the efficiency in that area.
We really going to sit here and act like MJ ain't one of the best contested shot makers in history? Don't matter if it's open or not, in his athletic prime it'd be a wrap.
Are you dudes forgetting they already said the Wide World of Sports Complex is where the season is supposed to finish up?
There’s 18 indoor basketball courts on campus as well state of the art facilities for every sport imaginable, fields all over the place and the Disney resorts they could have every player, Coach, close family, etc stay at. This is a pretty simple thing as long as they don’t get significant pushback from players being there for probably two months. Which I think there’s worse things than being stuck at a resort with all your peers and family in Florida in the middle of the summer just playing basketball and swimming and **** for a couple months.
