And you still didn't answer my question. How is not playing more effective and what has taken place during the 4 months of suspension?
You seem to have missed what the original conversation was about.
The argument in FAVOR of continuing the season, from a SOcial Justice POV, was, "Players will have a bigger platform to voice the injustices Black folks face WHILE the NBA Season is going on vs. When players are NOT playing."
If all the attention is on the GAMES, when and where will this new platform afford players a bigger voice to speak on social issues? If anything it pulls their attention away from being able to solely focus on those social issues.
Also, the social justice talk gets drowned out because reporters/press/media will be talking about the GAMES.
When there aren't any games going on, as we saw, more attention can be placed on NON-basketball related content from the players.
Playing, in that Bubble, is a distraction and will not provide players a bigger stage to speak on social issues.
