What did you say to such a ridiculous question?

Your answer just tells me that as soon as you saw the word “playmaker”....you immediately thought “passer”.

How do you define playmaking? Because if it’s by making plays for yourself and teammates to the maximum effect...the career 30/6/6 guy should most def be considered in that category.
We had this conversation months ago when people were taking about Harden’s turnovers. I didn’t understand why we were talking about a/t ratio with a guy who was also averaging 38ppg at the time.

Same story here. Bron is a more willing passer than Jordan, sure. That doesn’t make him a better playmaker to me.

the 2011 finals is exhibit A for this. Assists, boards, even FG% were all in line with his career numbers. The only stat that fell off a cliff was his points.

Playmaking to me is putting the ball through the hoop. That’s a successful trip down the court. You can do this with either the pass or the shot.

Virtual fans are creepy as hell. Watching the Dodgers last night with those cut outs was insane

will give it a shot though

So the fans are going to have a video recording their reactions ? Lmao

Sounds so stupid

In general, I’ve started to see that one of the more overrated traits for an elite player is “passing.”

not playmaking, but passing

when the chips are down, you need your best player to able to generate if Necessary 35 shots from him in a game 5 of a series. It’s why Kawhi shot 40 shots in game 7 or why MJ shot 37 times in game 6 vs Utah. That’s all playmaking and that’s the playmaking that matters most, I think.

and another reason why the whole “is steph a PG crowd” needs to wash their faces

no they’ll be watching it live with no delay. It has potential I think
Yeah they’ll watch the games live with no delay but they’re being video’ed to virtually appear around the court , that’s how I understood mans tweet

which is super weird

Big facts. Like, there’s a reason why CP3 got with a 30ppg scorer and got within a game of the finals. 22/9 on 50% in the offs is great, but your best player pretty Clearly has to be able to empty the clip as a prolific scorer on solid efficiency when it matters

We need to re-evaluate Magic as this pass first PG too

Like DCAllAfrican DCAllAfrican said....reputation and perception are what people think. People STILL think Rajon Rondo is an elite playmaker :lol.

What he is, is an elite passer, with elite vision. People confuse the two.

Michael Jordan...is absolutely an elite playmaker, and most definitely in the ball park of “playmaking” with LeBron. It’s ludicrous to think he’s not.

Peak Kobe trait is emptying the clip and coming out on top more times than not.
