Doc saying the team still playing at a 6 or 7 right now

as for bron...if he makes it out the first round, that be one of the greatest achievement. that is worth more than a chip
he makes it to the finals by dragging these bums :wow:

Because he's the best Robin/Beta in the history of the NBA.

Can’t take everything Doc says seriously. Remember he did say DeAndre Jordan was part of a big 3 and a legitimate DPOY candidate. But I think he may be right that the Clippers have yet to play their best ball.

Max chaos in the West:
RD1: LAL - POR
RD2: LAL - HOU
WCF: LAL - LAC

That’s brutal. If Bron gets thru that then he can talk his **** about what he’s done in the West but even so it won’t mean a thing without a ring. Does set up a nice “imaginary ring” scenario, though for the folks that believe in that
With FOUR roster changes and the way we're playing right now, if we get past POR in the 1st, that's nothing. But POR then HOU? 1/4 of a ring. And THEN Little Brother? 3/4 of a ring. Then of course if we make it to the COVID Throwback to Orientation Jamboree Finals and beat whoever it is in the East, he gets the entire certificate/plaque/year round pass to Disney/whatever the prize will be.

They’re the most equipped for the title under these circumstances. King Kawhi :Nthat

Life comes at you fast, man. In the matter of less than a week it went from being unsure if the Lakers could beat the Clips in the WCF to “If the Blazers sneak in as the 8-seed, they’re taking out the Lakers.”

Lebron and AD got bad juju on them from how lame that New Orleans trade was conducted on both their ends. An epic upset is the only way it can end for them this season

To clarify, part of the “brutal” classification comes from the fact of who Bron would have to carry to the Finals in comparison to the competition, if that makes sense. Like POR and HOU would probably be the worst possible early round matchups for the Lakers then the Clips are the Clips.

How do you think the Dubs runs stack up? They faced some better competition but their teams were far superior IMO.

I’m just saying...over the past 20 years in the west...I’ve seen better 8 seeds than these blazers. And better second round teams than these rockets.

It’s still a tough go, all things considered. Wouldn’t call it “brutal” but it ain’t a cakewalk like ole boy used to.

I can agree with this. Honestly, I wouldn’t have said that in early March. But this roster is looking flabby sick from top-to-bottom right now. West Coast 2018 Cavs is probably a spot-on comparison with how they went 7 in the first round and ECF with LeBron, a good big and nothing else consistent or reliable.

Hot take; Dame Lillard will have a higher PPG average in the Lakers-Portland 1st rd match up then Lebron or AD.

one of my favorite harden stats: since joining the rockets in 2012/2013, Harden has played in 610 out of 642 regular season games. over the same stretch:

AD - 526
Bron - 573
steph - 519
kawhi - 458
KD - 469
russ - 565
PG - 523
CP3 - 531

giannis is the closest with 526/561 games possible (rookie season 2013-2014).

obviously health comes with a little bit of luck, but in an era where people freely rest games he's been an nba ironman.

thats because he knows once the playoffs come he's gonna get plenty of rest

dude is the empty stats king
