On the subject of Boss Davis:

If Michael Porter JR shows any inkling of production right away, I wonder if the Nuggets get enticed to just offload Millsap. I know #VeteranLeadership is a thing and all.

How'd it go from 'serious injury ruled out. Zion should be back in a period of weeks' to 'Zion had knee surgery for a torn meniscus. Should be back in 8 weeks.'
Its bad enough though. Already having knee injury at the beginning of his rookie season gives me fear that Zion might be less of a LeBron, Shaq or MJ but rather a Derrick Rose :frown:
I really hope he fully recovers and won't have such injuries anymore.

maintain? Brown has never been anything approaching an All-Star at any point in his career. I swear, Brown and Tatum are going to get Max contracts off of that 2018 playoff run. I think when it's all said and done, well see that that playoff run was the anomaly and not who those players actually are.

NYC food doesn't have an identity. Unless being expensive counts.

Shrugs.
There's tons of cultures, ethnicities, and amazing food to match. Not rolling with that one. Some of the best news I've had in NY weren't even expensive.

Quick google search shows that this writer is from Boston, went to Boston University and began his career as a Celtics beat writer.

Probably not the best source

Atlanta needs a secondary playmaker, but ****, if Boggers is for the taking go with it

Memphis meanwhile is an ideal place for a weak (at this stage) defender in Beasley. They could use either he or Boggers

Jamaal Murray is annoying but I like dude as a player

He could be an All star with just a little more improvment

I haven’t made my mind up on Murray yet. Talented scorer, but not much more right now, IMO. Canadian Devin Booker on a better team.

Those 3 teams all would have given bags to Jaylen (and Siakam) had they hit RFA next summer as they could all use 2-way wings. Jaylen's contract is definitely an overpay for what he's done thus far, but if they didn't do what they did today, they would've had to either let him walk to one of those teams, or match an offer sheet and only get him on a 3+1 deal for a bag instead of this 4 year deal with no player/team option.

He had a good sophomore campaign and then had a trash first half of his 3rd year while healing from his hand injury and adjusting to a new role with all of last year's craziness. Was much better offensively in the 2nd half of last year once he settled in and is one of the better wing defenders in the league. 4 years younger than Buddy and 2.5 years younger than Siakam.

His stats are never going to be anything particularly crazy on this team, but if he focuses and hones in on the stuff he can excel at (perimeter defense, slashing when open, spot up 3s), he can be a really good player. Worst case scenario, he's a contract that can be moved for something else. We'll see.
