I finished up the Melo/JJ Podcast and it's incredible to me that Melo is still oblivious as to why his path got rocky the past few years
Like he took absolutely no responsibility on the basketball side of the things. Didn't understand why Donovan would ask him to come off the bench for Jerami Grant. Didn't understand why at 34 past his prime, OKC and Houston didn't want him to play a role. Son really thinks OKC traded him to "open up more shots for PG"
Luckily for the him the perfect role became available to him this season and he had some moments...but you can tell son really thinks he's still someone to be catered to.
