It’s really weird watching him play this year. It’s like him getting traded to OKC just ruined his love for the game. He’s just been going through the motions and letting Shai and Schroeder do whatever they want.

Move to OKC had CP3 posing nude for ESPN. :smh: :smh: :smh:

That said I wouldn't be surprised if he's moved by the trade deadline (maybe the Lakers).

Pelicans getting worked at home, down 20. The Pelicans defense is awful
Pels ain’t even try last night, was horrible D... But guess that’s how it looks when their top defense players and vets are out...Too many young cats that don’t know what to do

There were endless conversations about basketball, including how LeBron James had orchestrated his own "friend group" in Miami with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh that yielded two titles. One of the final nights on the Silver Cloud, as Ky, KD and DJ clinked glasses, Jordan recalls Irving saying, "Hey, this would be cool to do for real."

"I asked him, 'What you mean by that?'" Jordan says, "and Ky said, 'Let's all get on the same team and play together.'"
Irving, whose relationship with the Celtics had soured, said he told Danny Ainge in his exit interview that he was moving on. He had already decided where he was headed: back home to Brooklyn and all the possibilities it offered -- not to the Knicks, which felt stagnant and stale.
Yet Irving's infamous mood swings, confirmed by his ex-teammates, which followed him from Cleveland to Boston to Brooklyn, are the unspoken concern that makes Nets officials queasy. When Irving lapses into these funks, he often shuts down, unwilling to communicate with the coaching staff, front office and sometimes, even his teammates. Nets team sources say one such episode occurred during Brooklyn's trip to China, leaving everyone scratching their heads as to what precipitated it. There's hope that Durant will be able to coax his friend into a better frame of mind. But when presented with that scenario, KD says he will be hands off.
There has already been leeway to allow Irving to march to his own drum. The Nets are willing to look past moments like the photo shoot at the Pearl TV Tower in China, when Irving refused to remove his hat and instructed them to photoshop it out. They will focus more on the bigger issue of sharing the ball and maintaining good team chemistry.

:lol at keeping a hat on and telling them to Photoshop it out.

i have to bring this back up because we're just going to conveniently forget what Lebron was able to accomplish last year when he had to "carry" a team. achievements from last year as the person "carrying" the lakers include: alienating the young players, getting AD to demand a trade to the lakers, and missing the playoffs.

injury excuse in 3..2...1....

meanwhile, steph's lead a team to the playoffs 7 years in a row, including 5 consecutive finals appearances. a playoff run that started in his 4th year, klay thompson in his 2nd, and rookie versions of dray, harrison and festus ezeli. yet steph can't "carry" a team and isn't "cut from the same cloth"

LeBron carried a team with Bobbie Gibson and Big Z starting to the finals. Won 50+ games year after year with Mo Williams as his sidekick. You playing dumb tryna just use LeBron from year.

What LeBron has been asked to do for the bulk of his career ain't what the warriors have asked Steph to do, because he can't do it. Play great on both ends. Be the PG and best scorer. From Cleveland, Miami and back to Cleveland that's what LeBron has to do.

Steph has teams constructed around his weaknesses. Defensive players. Playmakers. Klay has had to be great on both ends. Check the other teams best guard through the regular season and playoffs while doing his thing on offense. We really gon see how valuable Klay is this year.

I can't like all of these trades sound really good (except for Iggy)

NBA Trades Fans Should Already Be Dreaming About
  1. Oklahoma City Thunder receive: Goran Dragic, Dion Waiters
    Miami Heat receive: Chris Paul
  2. Charlotte Hornets receive: Bogdan Bogdanovic
    Sacramento Kings receive:
    Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
  3. Portland Trail Blazers receive: Danilo Gallinari
Oklahoma City Thunder receive: Kent Bazemore, 2020 first-round pick
  4. Denver Nuggets receive: Andre Iguodala
Memphis Grizzlies receive: Mason Plumlee, 2022 first-round pick
  5. Miami Heat receive: Kevin Love
Cleveland Cavaliers receive: James Johnson, Meyers Leonard, 2025 first-round pick
If Portland and Miami can pull this off, the NBA will be much more fun to watch.

The NBA gotta do something about these dumb *** fouls. Every good guard in the league does this **** nowadays cause they call it for them 95% of the time.

To be fair, Embiid fouled Collins on that last play.

TWICE we've seen Steph get exposed and be a big reason why his team lost in the finals. Being trash on both ends. Shooting fell off, getting abused on defense.

Whatchu gon do when **** hit the fan???

We've seen what "Stephgod" is made of :smh:
