Also Imagine completely ignoring the Lakers easily disposing of a team that a lot of people claimed were "better" than them and ignoring that for a bumass point.
i've been on NT long enough to see this cycle happen. Lakers suck for a few years everyone claims the franchise is trash, nobody wants to play there, they'll never be relevant again.
The Lakers get their stars, they build a good team, they win a championship & everyone starts talking about how the Lakers cheat & the league does favors for them.. The SALT is plentiful in here

I was listening to that same pod in disbelief at the overreactions. There was a point where one of the host claims he went to the BK game & nobody looked "Happy" & how the culture was gone.
His main point that brought him to that conclusion........ the bench wasn't as active & dancing/clapping as they were last year so their clearly not having fun
I can't speak for everyone but i would much rather have a guy who could get me 40 every night.... rather then having some happy goofballs on my bench the entire night but hey
