Lol I didn't read most post but y'all are bugging if you're comparing Hazard and Neymar.
Neymar is easily the 2nd/3rd best player in the world and gunning for that #1 spot.

Hazard is extremely underrated. Even with Neymar’s amazing ability with the ball at his feet, Hazard is still the better player going against defenders.
Neymar is better in front of goal, sure. Maybe. Come to PSG and prove it without the 2 best attacker’s on the planet.

I don't think I'm underrating Hazard, he's pretty amazing with the ball and maybe the best I've ever seen in 1v1 situations with a defender pressuring from behind, but Neymar does too many things Hazard doesn't do. Hazard one of the best in the world at breaking defensive lines on the dribble.

Neymar has a release clause. Who on Barca and Madrid don’t have ridiculous clauses. Put hazard on either and guess what’s happening to his “value”.

I never said he was worth, better, or more valuable. I said he's just as valuable in the transfer market. But now that I think about it, he may actually be more valuable to Chelsea as a club.
In my humble opinion, Hazard is just as valuable to his team as Neymar is, maybe even more considering he's their talisman player. Messi is Barcelona's talisman player. Not Neymar.
Barcelona lose Neymar, and life moves on. Dybala, Mbappe, Dembele, Coutinho, etc can come in and fill that role. At Neymar's level? Maybe not. Neymar has played his role very well at Barcelona and has come up under Messi and Suarez. The perfect place to come up, especially for a young south american kid. But he can be replaced at FC Barcelona.
But Eden Hazard doesn't play on a team as good as Barcelona, if he disappears, chelsea isn't as great. His value to the club is a bit higher than that of Neymar's to Barcelona. Chelsea lose Eden hazard, and they lose a much greater asset to their team than if Barcelona lost Neymar. Sure Neymar is next up in line and has the potential to be the guy that carries the franchise on, but nothing is set in stone, and that time hasn't come yet.
But Hazard is doing that, right now. Hazard is the franchise player.
So given all of that, imagine what Chelsea could ask for if they put a release clause on Eden Hazard? his dollar value is relative to what his club feels it is. Not his actual playing ability.
Gareth Bale has a £900m release clause. Lets think about "value" for a moment. If Eden Hazard had a release clause, its not a stretch to assume it would be just as much as Neymar's. 220m release clause for Eden Hazard? Let the PL slap release clauses to players and watch the transfer market get even crazier. Let Madrid actually get him, and watch them slap some stupid clause on him. So we can't really gauge his value by this ridiculous amount that PSG better just sign the ******* check for already. And we really can't gauge it by ability. Because again, Neymar doesn't have the weight and responsibility of Hazard. Messi carries that load. Even if Neymar is technically a superior player by whatever margin he may be, Hazard is the marquee player at Chelsea FC.
Sure there's other players that you can compare, but I honestly only see Eden Hazard and Griezmann as the two near future balon d'or contenders to Neymar. And I see their values all equal. Abilities, no. But value, yeah. All it takes is a new contract to shift dollar value. If Neymar were to move to PSG, he would step up form being Messi's sidekick to actually being his equal. Because at that point, you've become the man of the house.
Hazard may not be as good. But he's as valuable.

Nah, I actually had just thought of that when thinking about the comparison. Most of that is just me thinking out loud.
But I legit think Hazard is worth just as much as Neymar. Might sound crazy, but I do.
If Neymar is worth 220m, I don't see how Hazard and Griezmann aren't.
I mean hell, James' clause is for like half a bil. Hazard ain't worth 220? C'mon b. Lets take skill and ability out of it.
