Fro is indirectly what's remained at MU as Sir Alex's one legacy since he left.

His appointed successor signed Fellaini that first summer, and he's been at the club since.

Captain Fro is the perfect face for Man U in the post-Sir Alex era, and it all fits perfectly to be sponsored with that big Chevrolet logo

Better phrasing would be

Fro = Sir Alex's indirect parting gift to Man U

since Moyes didn't last

I honestly don't see why there's so much hate for Fro.

I don't think it's hate, as much as it is frustration. When he's on the pitch, he offers nothing in the way of creativity or ball movement. Yes, he's good in the air, but that's about it. He lacks the class that I would want to see in the United MF.

he belongs in a mid level team as a leader on and off the pitch being loved as his game winning goal clenches them a 12th place spot at the end of the season. instead hes somehow seen as a leader on and off the pitch to a high level team despite only being a sub and still receives the same amount of love as the other.

Moyes was a mid level coach with mid level mentality. he brings Fro as if its an upgrade but it isn't

Many United fans disliked Fellani cause he was a Moyes signing. Fellani's game isn't clean. He doesn't offer you anything in particular. He'll win you a ball, score a goal here and there and occasionally make a good pass.

its not cause hes a moyes signing, i couldnt care less about that, hes useless, he promotes joses jail ball and he's dirty

here's a list of random footy facts

  1. Luka Modric and Mark Viduka are cousins. Although Viduka is an Aussie, his family emigrated from Croatia in the 60s.

  2. James Rodriguez and David Ospina are brothers-in-laws. Daniela, David Ospina's sister, married James. Edit: this fact is under investigation.

  3. Alvin Martin scored a hat trick against 3 different Newcastle GKs in one match for West Ham. Their first choice keeper got injured, then an outfielder stepped in only to get injured as well, and finally Peter Beardsley was beaten for Martin's third.

  4. Norway is the only international team to have never lost against Brazil: 2 wins, 2 draws.

  5. While we're on the topic of undefeated sides, Dundee United have never lost against FC Barcelona. In 1986-87, they made a run to the UEFA Cup Finals by knocking out Barcelona and BMG, although they lost in the final to IFK Gothenburg.

  6. Arsène Wenger had an asteroid named after him called 33179 Arsènewenger by Ian Griffin, an astronomy expert and Arsenal fan.

  7. Blackburn Rovers have had some bad luck with transfers. They almost signed Zidane but the owner blocked it ("Why do you want to sign Zidane when we have Tim Sherwood?"), and Lewandowski's plane was grounded due to an Icelandic ash cloud and the transfer was delayed.

  8. Kuba was just 10 years old when he saw his father stab his mother to death. ****.

  9. Discipline: Gary Lineker has never received a card of any kind, Phillip Lahm has never received a red card in his career, Ryan Giggs has never received a red card in the EPL, Javier Zanetti's first Serie A red card was in his 548th match, and Cha Bumkun only received one yellow card in 10 seasons.

  10. Bobby Zamora and Obafemi Martins are the only two footballers to have scored penalties with both feet in the EPL.

  11. Whilst a director at Birmingham City, Karen Brady sold Paul Peschisolido to Stoke for 400k. What's interesting about this? Paul is still happily married to Karen today.

  12. David Moyes and David Beckham played together at Preston North End. Other interesting teammates: Vardy/Kane at Leicester, Özil/Neuer/Rakitic at Schalke, Guardiola/Totti at Roma, Kroos/Vidal at Leverkusen, and Ronaldinho/Jay Jay Okocha at PSG.

  13. Only Harry Kane, Romelu Lukaku, and Raheem Sterling have scored hat tricks in the EPL amongst players born after the EPL era (1992).

  14. Smarts: Frank Lampard is said to have an IQ of 150, Simon Mignolet speaks 5 languages and has a degree in law/political science, Lukaku also speaks 5 languages and has a degree in tourism and public relations.

  15. England apparently came up with the word "soccer", which is a shortened version of “Association Football”. It was altered to “Assoc. Football” which then got changed to “soccer” from "Assoc" + "er". In the 19th century, it was popular to add the “-er” sound to shortened words.

Hes the definition of footy being played more by the mind than it is by physical build. You can have the pace and the height but if you dont have a football mind you wont be anything.

P$G is pulling out all the stops in regards to Neymar and I'm not even mad

The early morning rundown on the days updates:

manchester-city-17-18-third-kit-2.jpg

So the city 3rd kit is "dark outdoor green"...i thought it was black...but now i am slightly more interested. Gonna probably pick up the city away kit this week. I need to see the pink/maroon/red in person

I'm tired of it too. This Neymar drama to me is over with, he's gone.

Now let's just sit back and watch the domino effect of it. Barca with €200 million euro to play with, expect something crazy.

Ones of these dudes - Coutinho, Dybala, Greizmann, or Alexis will be brought in, and then Barça still have plenty of money left over to bring in a class CDM.

I'm late but two things...

A) Semedo would have beat the breaks off of Neymar, Ney knew he didn't REALLY want those type of problems.

B) Mourinho's jab back towards Conte talking about his hair transplant, HILARIOUS.

Blackburn Rovers have had some bad luck with transfers. They almost signed Zidane but the owner blocked it ("Why do you want to sign Zidane when we have Tim Sherwood?").

This gets better:

"Also towards the beginning of the 1996 season, according to football agent Barry Silkman, Zidane was offered to Newcastle United for £1.2 million, but the club turned down the offer after watching him, claiming that he was not good enough for the English First Division.[29]"

When having a Panasonic mindset goes wrong and you believe English football is best played by Englishmen
