So which one is it?

Not happy about selling him to United yet you're disappointed in him for wanting out since last year and losing form but also happy with the money you guys'll get at the same time?

I'm surprised the blues decided on selling him to Mou despite the reported Juve interest in him, they probably weren't willing to drop as much. It's funny how BBC is using the combined fee with add ons included in their Matic posts when they usually make a point of using the official base fee in most other cases

Matic has always been playing well in the first half which I don't mind keeping him until winter transfer window. However, I think Matic hasn't been same since Ashley Barnes's harsh tackle. Last season, he did a decent job. His goal against Spur was gold tho

......I guess.

I would have really liked this kit if it didn't have the button collar and if the black shorts had the red stripes on the side.

Wait we signed Matic for 50 mil?

**** all that bs about him being great for rotation or still being a great player at his age. 50 mil? Man **** united for paying that. There has to be better options. Hate how Mou rather go to something he knows rather than experiment with a new signing.

The Matic signing is a solid signing, fills a need.

Saw a tweet that said Fabregas/Kante/Bakayoko is a better midfield than Matic/Ander/Pogba. As a United fan, I have to disagree but anyone here believe that Chelsea trio is actually better than the United trio?

I don't get why you want a "new" signing from Mou so bad. Who was United supposed to buy instead that's proven they can fill that role? Fabinho would be nice but would have been 20M+ more expensive and Monaco doesn't seem too keen on selling.

Why? Because we've seen Mou and Matic before. Because united fans will be wishing for his departure after a season or two.

Guess I get why y'all like the siging but this is just duct tape on a leaking pipe.

Even I cant argue that point :{ That united midfield is the complete package

I believe it's 40 mil, but I digress. 40 mil, 50 mil it is what it is.

I personally like the Matic signing. He's 28, so he still has 2-3 years left of good service. And most importantly is that we've seen him doing well in the league for multiple seasons.

Don't defenders usually get better with age?

Hes pretty much prime age for a defensive midfielder. 40m for a guy who still had 4 years of peak performance in him ain't a bad deal.

I'll keep saying it tho, don't get caught in the Monaco hype. Fabinho is definitely a class player, but Matic just won the PL 2 of the last 3 years and has been a factor both seasons.

Pick up Fabinho next summer, and have both. Jose wants to run with guys he knows can get the job he wants done. Let him bring in his guys, win some hardware, and then start looking for new talent.

I might eat my words about Matic later on but I'm not excited about his arrival. It didn't move.

I agree, but I guess Mourinho trusts him tho because he's proved it in the EPL.

But for €40-50 Million United could have gotten William Carvalho and be set for the next 10 years. IDK, just a weird signing ya'll made.

I am surprised there hasn't been more interest in Carvalho from multiple teams. Maybe he has a solid year and Mou swings for him next year when Carrick retires.

I can't see him leaving liga nos, being one of the best cdm's in that league and playing for not a bad squad must be nice

I think once the Fabinho situation died out, Mourinho's next alternative was to go with who he knew he worked well with.

40 bands is change for brinks truck united tho. As a spectator, I wouldn't trip off 40 when y'all lining up 100mil for Griez
