Cavani and Ospina kept us in the game. Glad we got a point in a game that we were nearly washed in. Interesting line up. Looked like Wenger wanted the team to counter which is why he put Alexis up top. But we all know that he isn't really effective there. When we saw Giroud come on for Ox, we saw the difference that it made. I don't think Wenger is completely confident in the other midfield pairings aside from Coq-Santi which is something he's familiar with, also given Santi's form there's prob some reluctance to drop him.

Coquelin is a liability, guaranteed yellow every game.

Ox is grabge, he needs to get left on the bench

Was able to watch the highlights, Cavani is world class in every trait a striker should have except the most important one: finishing. He let us off the hook, and so I thank him. Ospina was also very good from what I saw, his swipe of the ball when Cavani was about to round him at the end was spectacular.

Alexis is one of the best WINGERS in the world, and that's not up for debate. Why tf Arsene started him at striker is beyond me, I thought that experiment was dead with the arrival of Lucas.

WOW

Courageous penalty call by the assistant ref

NE Revolution about to find themselves in a deep hole going into half

I wouldn't be surprised if Coq started more games than Xhaka....dude is basically undroppable.

I much rather have Campbell or Gnabry over Ox.

He doesn't think Lucas is ready is what I'm gathering. Giroud should have started if that was the case, clearly.

Anybody planning on going to the USMNT friendly against New Zealand next month in DC? My friend and I are thinking about going if the prices are right.

All i could think about was this thread yesterday :lol

Cavani scores in the first minute. Knew that would make this thread go nuts.....then dude misses 100000 chances :lol just as we all expected
Then Giroud gets on the field....and gets a red card :lol

it doesn't get any better than that for WC vs WC

Damn apparently Mkhi Targaryan still wasn't at 100% during the derby and reaggrevated the injury he suffered dutring the intl break. He's out for the next 3 games now :{. Now it makes a bit more sense why he looked so off, hopefully this means some of the other players who havent played much can get decent minutes this month.

I already know Mou said that Rashford is starting the Feyenoord match.

Wasnt even talking about him but if you wanna go there, playing deep :lol

Plus it's not like he was turning over the ball a lot, just that he couldn't get many touches in Citeh's half like the others before the 2nd half.

The day Mou gets the balls to drop Wazza will be the day Pogba gets the keys to the car. Dude looked so much better in a 3 man MF with Ander

You can pick your own club in the story of that Hunter guy. In this trailer he is a City player

:lol Great use of a Gran Torino gif...

And so it begins...

Let me first say it's early in their tenures at OT so I'm not making judgements on Pogba yet as I'm a huge fan. I think it has more to do with how that idiot is using him.

When you spend that kind of dough, you tailor the team around the player's strengths & not try to pigeon hole him.

If rumors of Mkhitaryan being a mental ******, I have a feeling this kid is going to crumble like a biscuit under Jose...

Henrikh Mkhitaryan frustrated Jose Mourinho is not playing him in favoured No 10 role at Manchester United
