So according to some "sauces" around the table, Chelsea has agreed to sell Fabregas to Milan in the winter.

Let me first say it's early in their tenures at OT so I'm not making judgements on Pogba yet as I'm a huge fan. I think it has more to do with how that idiot is using him.

When you spend that kind of dough, you tailor the team around the player's strengths & not try to pigeon hole him.

Manchester United manager Mourinho is holding back Paul Pogba

If rumors of Mkhitaryan being a mental ******, I have a feeling this kid is going to crumble like a biscuit under Jose...

Henrikh Mkhitaryan frustrated Jose Mourinho is not playing him in favoured No 10 role at Manchester United

The Sun is a terrible newspaper, so you should take that with a grain of salt. Still, I would'nt be surprised.

It might be but what the writer wrote is pretty accurate. Jose is trying to make a square peg fit into a round peg already with Pogba which is-was my biggest fear of him coming back to OT...

I love how Jose again blamed everyone but him in his post game presser.

In the post-game interview, while he did say that some didn't perform up to their standards, he said he takes the blame because he's the manager and he made the decision to start them. So I think it's unfair to say he blamed everyone except himself. He did blame Clattenburg, but he said utlimately he made the gamble on Mk-hit-a-Ryan and Lingard, and lost.

4-3-3

Pogba on the left MF not far behind whoever's at the 10. I'd love to see Mkhi get the chance there or the special Juan. Ander or Morgan in the deeper lying role.

The front 3 can be interchanged given the options with a lot of sucess imo

Nah, he threw Mkhi & Lingard under the bus. His public scoldings in front of the full glare of the media need to stop.

If anything he's at fault for the wack a** formation & shoe horning in players that shouldn't be playing while also making players play positions that clearly don't work for them.

He shouldn't have thrown them under the bus & instead took full responsibility.

Contrast that to Pep who praised Bravo post game for what was in fact a shaky debut.

Pep did overkill with the compliments saying, "one of the best performances I’ve ever seen..." :lol :rolleyes C'mon son, it wasn't all that.

This dude Mou tries getting cute starting diff players as if it would disrupt Pep's gameplan and it wound up being a backfire. Then blames the players :lol

Man U would get toasted using a formation like you've described. Pogba as more of an attacking mid, BEHIND a #10? It would just wind up becoming a 4-2-3-1 again with him falling deeper to help cover and win the ball back.

I guess we we have different definitions of throwing someone under the bus. His last interview with Chelsea, when he said that his work was betrayed and he had them playing above their level is throwing them under the bus. Him stating players did not play to their level but it's his fault for having them out there is different to me.

:lol He was universally labeled as throwing them under the bus by the pundits not just by me & "my so called definition" of throwing them under the bus. :rollin

Lingard hasn't played in over a month & Mkh really didn't look fit (coming off a injury from international duty). Why on earth would be pick them in such an important match & then proceed to punish them by not including them in matches there after!?!?

Man, you get the gas face for that post... :p :rollin

The blame is soley on Jose. Not the players, not Mark Clattenburg, just Jose...

Are people in here really trying to defend Jose's comments? I like him for entertainment reasons, but come on, this is the same dude that once blamed UNICEF for losing to Barca :rollin it's NEVER mostly his fault; it's always the refs, his medical team, the sponsors, UEFA, UNICEF, the UN, etc. It's never the fact that he tries to play too damn conservatively and it ends up backfiring or that he plays players out of position. Dude is the Xavi of managers when it comes to excuses for losing.

I guess it's expected from Manchester United fans though. You guys put your managers on the level of a god that can do no wrong when the season starts and then end up regretting it when your team is fighting for their lives to get into the top 4 by the end of the year. Let's see how this year goes :lol

His comment was basically, the players I picked sucked, if I had known they would suck I wouldn't have picked them. But I guess it's my fault since I picked them.

You know CR7 saw the dismantling that Barca gave Celta yesterday and saw that Messi broke up their tie with the most hat tricks in the UCL.

Wonder if CR7 can do it against his first club he ever went to

They need to play Pogba at the 10 role

**** Rooney

Martial or Bleek at his left, Mkhi or Mata to his right

Schneider with Fro behind him

4 in the back

Y'all already know who's up front

^^^ I'm far from a United fan tho, if you're referring to me. Personally, I like Pep more, and most of the backlash against him is based on the fact he chose City over United IMO. But I have grown to respect Mou, he's pragmatic in his approach, and he always wins something everywhere he goes, even if it goes up in flames in the end.

Lingard last played in the Community Shield, a little over a month ago. Mkhi is coming off an injury picked up while coming back from international duty. For face value, would you pick players under those circumstances for the biggest game (a derby no less) of the campaign so far?
