This Jussie Smollett Situation is REALLY Bizarre...

I mean we just waiting on info at this point and someone tried to claim this story is bs because he went to subway and he's black.

I like how this thread is about 2 different topics.
I stumbled across this thread and don't know which way we going. I ain't following and can careless about the Jussie situation. However the rabbit hole of Subway/Quiznos has peeked my interest.

ya'll wild for giving more energy to the fast food topic than the og subject, lmaooooo ... (who has the best fries tho?)

Best fries is subjective but it seems like the consensus in terms of nominees are

-McDonald’s
-Checkers
-Five Guys
-Chick Fil A

titang545 titang545 noir. noir. Thread has only run its course after the inevitable discussion about Dipset's influence on Subway.

From what I’ve heard. Subway is the cheapest of all fast food places to open up a franchise which is why you see so many of them. It doesn’t cost as much to buy your own subway so those things end up popping up all over the place.

Your definitely right about that, me and a few friends talked about opening a franchise like Dunkin’ Donuts or subway...but them ideas and plans never came to fruition cause its to competitive in nyc.

Subway startup costs are low but their supplies costs are quite high. That's why franchisees skimp on the meats, etc... and put an 'ish tonne of lettuce. :smh:

Most of the Quiznos local to me have closed down. Their sandwiches are significantly better but overpriced.

Really? I have got to disagree on that. Checkers/Rally's were always so greasy, Five Guys are...

Damn can't think of a way to say it without sounding suspect. :smh:

Five Guys are to soft. PAUSE.
I do like Chick Fila and Arby's curly fries
Only thing good at subway is the white chocolate macadamia cranberry cookies. Soon as you walk in it smells like fart. The place is disgusting
CONCUR, I do have to stop through and pick up the 3 for $1. Hit them up for like 5/7 seconds, perfect.

Now I kinda hope his story is fabricated so we can change the thread title in complete disrespect. :lol

diet in terms overall caloric intake vs other choices. hell i lost 35 pounds on a subway lunch everyday by mistake.
I bet you weren't dousing the sandwich with chipotle sauce and ranch dressing. People look at the commercials and forget the healthy aspect is lost when that gets added. If they going get a BLT with cheese and no chips, if you must have chips get the baked ones, with water. Sigh they go in looking for the foot long, with oil, ranch, and bacon eat all in one sitting as well as the chips, and a large drink with one cookie. Keep the other two for the walk back to the car and drive back to the office.

Whew I ate healthy today I should treat myself.

Also, Subway isn't that low in calories. Especially when getting a footlong

I think it is safe to say that the changing of the title is just a formality the thread is already changed.

Them cookies still 3 for a dollar ? Used to get them damn near daily 5-6 years ago

best part of subway to me

Their raspberry cheesecake and macadamia nut cookies.

I'm not a big fan. It's somewhere I'll go to during work hours every few months, because there's one everywhere.

They do have low calorie sandwiches though. Some of their sandwiches are basically just ham, cheese, and lettuce; I remember I used get footlongs of those in college for $5, and they'd have 600-700 cals total (to me, that's low since I used to eat one half at a time a few hours apart, and my calorie limit for the day is 2400).

Also, I would never eat Subway normally, but this was back in college, and Subway was the only non greasy/high calorie Mexican food spot open all night during finals week
