I am a sinner, heck the biggest sinner if I could say.Who said I'm looking for all the answers in the world? I'm exploring myself and my faith.
You suggest I haven't accepted Jesus Christ, speaking from some pedestal, when YOU'RE living in as much sin as anyone here. Don't do that, because that is judgement. You are in no position to speak to me like that, simply because I ask questions. Asking questions and exploring this world of ideas and ideologies around you are not the same as "trying to find answers." I'm looking to talk about YOU'RE perspective on things, but it's becoming more and more clear that you simply don't have a perspective. That is the same as paying lip service.
I don't promote ignorance, I don't promote a MAN taking on the role of JUDGE when it comes to another man's heart. But is VERY clear that you do.
You need to take a step back and figure out where you could be doing better in your faith. Because you seem to think you are FAR more in tune with your faith than you REALLY are.
**** Christianity
Y'all white folks used that **** **** to justify slavery and shoved that ****** religion down their throats
Jesus a Jew and the fake euro Jews are killin innocent Palestine in the name of god
Christianity is an excuse to infiltrate other peoples lands and steal their resources
Yakub
I am a sinner, heck the biggest sinner if I could say.
Only thing that redeems me is I have decided to follow Jesus and abandon my life of sin.
Tell me, how is one a Christian and how do you say don't judge when you conclude I am living in sin?
The one bit of credit I'll give religion is this: it acted as an enforcer of morality in a time when human justice was difficult to carry out. It helped prevent wrongdoings of bad people by fear of potential eternal damnation. We're in 2014. All those things you mentioned developed from what?Morality is guided by reason, not faith. We understand that we're one human being out of billions of others who are no more or less special or deserving than we are. With this in mind, it's only rational to treat others the way you'd like to be treated.
If you need a higher power to dictate to you that murder, rape, theft, etc. is wrong, you're a pretty sad individual.
And by "made up bible stories," are you insinuating that stories such as Noah's Ark are potentially true?
Morals come from reason and are subjective. They come from how a person is raised as a child. If there was a supreme being that gave it to us wouldn't all of our morals be relatively the same?
in the eyes of the Nazi's the holocaust was right.
But in the eyes of everyone else, and rightfully so, it was morally wrong.
As children we are trained and taught. Who taught the originators of our laws and REASON? Was it just learned? I mean that many beings self diagnosing things?
Do you believe in evolution? You avoided my first question...

You get most of your views from Tariq? If the black community gave up Christianity it would be in much better shape.

The more you learn about history the more you see how ******* fake Christianity is. It's a religion that folks used to push their own agenda.
The fact y'all portray this middle eastern/African creature as a pale skinned blue eyed man is enough to know this book is just a tool for white supremacy
And how do you know you are truly following God? Thou shalt not make a graven image of God is what God clearly says.I'm done with you, bruh. You live a life of sin, so don't dare tell anyone else who they are.
A Christian is someone who accepts the fact that Jesus Christ was a real person who sacrificed his own life to show the world what true humanity is, in turn attempting to be more like Christ and follow in his words and actions. All that other stuff is fairy tales and ghost stories.
You don't think that's a valid answer? Fine. Your opinion means nothing, because you are not the Christian you think you are. When me and you find ourselves in the exact same afterlife (which I have FAITH that we will), then maybe you can see the bigger picture.
