Well then he also creates spiritually imperfect beings as there are people without the ability to feel or at least experience emotions in such a different way that they are unable to be 'good' people1. God loves all creatures he creates. He sees not physical imperfection but spiritual perfection.
.
Cool article.
Its a fact they adapted
Evolution is your belief
Don't get it twisted.
How did we evolve from the big bang?
If we did not come from the big bang, how did we start?
If god is perfect then why would he create imperfect creatures?
Why would he have the tree of knowledge within range of Adam and Eve to betray his trust? Why did god not foresee this and stop it?
Why would god allow slavery to happen and not only that, tell you how to beat your slave and separate him from his family if need be?
Why is there no evidence of Jews being slaves in Egypt?
Why would god have a "chosen" people? Why aren't all people his chosen ones?
How do you know the bible is in its totality?
I don't expect you to answer any of these but I thought it was worth shot since no Christian has been able to answer these questions to me.
First man was Adam
He had communion with God
since he knew no sin.
God told Adam "Don't eat from that Tree
of Knowledge"
Eve, Adam's wife
eats from the Tree of Knowledge.
Gives Adam.
They have sinned.
Since they have sinned
For forgiveness they must sacrifice.
The Lord Sends his Son
4000 years later
after he had given word
through many of the prophets
of the Old Testament.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, willingly dies
on the cross, as the last sacrifice,
rises from the dead and
freed us from damnation.
Through our repentance,
turning from sin.
and trusting in Christ alone,
God gives us the Holy Spirit, which
guides, empowers us and eternal life.
With it comes the hate from the world.
.....yea still makes zero sense to me famIt was an atonement. The wages of sin is death.
"Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin; and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."
Each year, the high priest had to sacrifice a specific animal that had no blemish in order to atone for the sins of Israel. The blood of this animal was sprinkled on the mercy seat of the ark of the covenant. Beside the mercy seat on the ark were two cherubim looking down at the seat, representing God's judgement. Once the blood was sprinkled and the glory and judgment of God came to the tent, His wrath was turned away upon seeing the blood. The price was paid and judgement passed over, just like in Egypt.
In order for the sacrifice to be accepted, it had to be without blemish. The best of the best. So in order to fully wash away all of mankind's sin and not just cover them, something greater had to be sacrificed. So God did it himself, through Jesus by wrapping himself in flesh and being the perfect example. By being wrapped in flesh, He was able to experience everything that we are tempted with yet overcome each one. Then like a lamb led to the slaughter, He was sacrificed. His death forgives sin because like with the above paragraph, whenever God's glory would look at the mercy seat and see the blood, His wrath was turned away. With Jesus' death, he ascended into heaven as our high priest, mercy seat and mediator between God and man. The job of the high priest was to be the mediator between God and man, pleading for forgiveness. If he wasn't right(life wise) everyone depending on him would be in trouble. This time, we don't have to worry about whether the high priest is in good standings or not. Now, Jesus is the only high priest in heaven who we have direct access to, went through all types of temptation and can identify with us since He overcame them.
When we sin, God sees the blood of Jesus on us(through baptism in Jesus name) and His wrath is turned away as the price has already been paid while we see the man Jesus. Its like having a coin placed in between you and someone else. One person sees heads, the other sees tails. We see the man Jesus, God sees the bloodied sacrifice and has mercy. It doesn't mean that we are free to sin but that when we slip up, it's been paid for.
They were perfect, eternal life, no disease, no sinIf god is perfect then why would he create imperfect creatures?

You will never understand it.....yea still makes zero sense to me fam
^ real
Pennsatucky is that youNot law or proven facts, just my take:
God is a spirit. Man is flesh n spirit. Spirit is what connects us with Him (made in His image ) but we not the same. He is greater so we must be lesser. (Perfect is subjective. He is the ultimate)
He made us free willed to choose Him. To fellowship. Once you exist on this plain, there are temptations. Active forces acting on you pushing you towards and pulling you away. He wants us to be spiritually strong enough to surpass these forces and choose Him. ( If your girl is always in a room with you 24/7, you believe her to be loyal. But if she ignores a sea of men constantly to give you all her attention, you know she's loyal)
Slavery that happened in the world history and biblical history are two different things. The bible speaks of indentured servitude. Why did he let slavery occur in the world? No clue. He is in control (intervening and allowing). Why not interviene? Whose to say He didn't and all African were enslaved instead of totally whiped out..... I dont believe it would make sense to make free willed beings but step in every issue like Superman. What would be the purpose of life if everything was fully controlled? Good would cease to exist cus their would be no bad.
If you plant 100 apple trees, some will have decent fruit, some will have not so good fruit, and some would be exceptional. With Israel ( 12 tribes, including Jews) being 'chosen', they were chosen cus of Abraham. He was obedient and God knew he would teach his children the ways of God. So God blessed his lineage. Israel were no more special than the rest of the ppl that dwelled in the world at the time. The had the knowledge of GOd and kept his commands and traditions. But they struggled mightly. Part the sea one day, curse Moses, build false Gods the next. They were to be a light to the nations. But they fell short. All are called but only some answer.
Dont know. I believe its complete cus of Revelations teachings of things yet to come ( I have read the books Jasher and Enoch which have been removed but fill in a lot of blanks)
I understand the concept of evolution, natural selection, darwinism. So basically, very, evolution from the big bang into the modern day earth had a lot to do with a changing environment which caused multiple adaptations from the starting single celled organisms.
Things like different temperatures, oxygen content, CO2 content, and viable land caused these organisms to pick up different traits that helped them suit their environment better giving them a better chance to survive. When this occurs over billions of years you get immense diversity and eventually it becomes what we have today.
For a more detailed look into this try this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_evolutionary_history_of_life
I understand the concept of evolution, natural selection, darwinism.
I still have issues believing we came from single celled organisms from a massive explosion. That we came from moss/fungi etc.
The beginning of it all for evolution is where I am not knowledgeable or a non-believer
^ we in the same boat then fam
1. God loves all creatures he creates. He sees not physical imperfection but spiritual perfection.
2. Free will. Also they were his first crack at Humanity.
3. The Bible was not written by God. It was written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is a very old book and things were different then. Also free will.
4. There is.
5. Again the OT was written by Jews. Of course they saw themselves as the chosen. And they were.
6.We dont.
They were perfect, eternal life, no disease, no sin
Then Man Sinned.
God wants trust and love.
If you do disobey him its your
choice, just be ready for the consequences.
Slavery back then was different.
People would become slaves
for a certain amount of time
to pay off debts.
Post the verse for beating.
You don't want to believe.
Abram was deemed righteous, and
so were his generations blessed by God
I know because of the Holy Spirit.
They were perfect, eternal life, no disease, no sin
Then Man Sinned.
God wants trust and love.
If you do disobey him its your
choice, just be ready for the consequences.

Then nothing I say will convince you1. You didn't answer the first question. If spiritually perfect then why aren't we spiritually perfect? I never said anything about physicality.
2. So he gave us free will to disobey him? Why would he do that? His first crack at humanity wasn't perfect? If he is all knowing then why wouldn't his first crack be perfect? His second crack wasn't perfect either. He flooded the earth and killed or should I say cleansed the earth and we are still born in sin right?
3. What do you mean things were different then? Gods morality shouldn't change so why would he allow slavery back then?
4. What evidence do you have?
Slavery was not different in its essence. You were someone's property.
However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)
Here is God saying it's ok to beat your slave as long as they don't die
When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)
If we are all born equal under god then why can I be someone's property?
I don't want to believe what? That Jews were slaves in Egypt? What proof do you have?
So god if god is the creator of all things, is he not the creator of evil and sin?
The Holy Spirit is not enough proof to convince me
Then nothing I say will convince you
and you know this.
The answer will be that god in the christian sense is NOT perfect
Here's a theory,
We look up to god like ants look up to us. To ants we are all powerful. We can burn them, stomp them, flood them, all without any effort. That doesn't make us perfect
This but doesn't this make us worshipping him being like Greeks worshipping Apollo? What if god isn't a being per say? What if "god" is the Big Bang?
What if god isn't a being per say? What if "god" is the Big Bang?
This but doesn't this make us worshipping him being like Greeks worshipping Apollo?
