Haven't been able to work all week due to air quality and personally I'm not expecting conditions to change by Sunday.

I'm anticipating more a long the lines of next Wednesday and I'm more hopeful than anything.

Yes I think that timeline makes sense given what we know.

San Diego has come out to offer hosting our game  I'm imagining Qualcomm with the field in our colors. That would be the only difference stadium-wise between playing there before this year and now. God knows we will be just as dominant in attendance.

Im in the South Bay but the air quality was terrible yesterday. Even the skies over here were all dusty, can't imagine how the affected area is.

On then bright side, it has cleared up today & I think the game will prolly be played in Oakland. They'd probably cancel the game before moving it right? Too many logistical changes.

I think yesterday was the worst air quality ever recorded in Oakland. Been waking up to ash on the whip every morning.

On another note, I'm involved in the soccer scene in Northern California and was scheduled play in Santa Rosa this Sunday. I had reached out to the opposing team earlier in the week and was heart broken when I heard that half the kids and the opposing coach lost everything including their homes in the fire.

The governing body here Northern California is spearheading a fundraising effort. If you feel like doing so here's a link where you can make an anonymous donation.

I know there can be an assumption that youth soccer is for the affluent but that's really not the case in California. Same with assumptions about the Sonoma county and the region in general. Large immigrant population and a lot of working class communities up there.

Regardless, I imagine people from every background can use a hand right now.

The takeover :nerd:

I'd legit wanna go just to see what Raider fans do to their little hall of fame room :lol

just in case it does get moved, yall know wsup with the ticketing? does it just get transfered or we get refunded and buy new tix?

not sure how that works was curious about it myself.

looks like there's no plans to move the game

I imagine we're going to be in competition with too many teams driving up the price on him. But maybe he'll favor staying in the Bay Area now that we're in the middle of the season.

Man. you gotta hit up Oakland taco trucks:
Tacos Sinaloa: https://yelp.to/qTKq/AkYAlEOK8G
Mi Grullense: https://yelp.to/qTKq/JxitI1EK8G

On Fridays, they have Off the Grid food trucks in Oakland by the museum:

Star on Grand (deep dish): https://yelp.to/qTKq/kpgPze9K8G

I'm at work or I'd hit you with more. But let me know what you're looking for and maybe I can give you some ideas.

Edit: just seen you were staying in Hayward. Check this place out for breakfast: https://yelp.to/qTKq/nl73oGiL8G

good lookin out on the breakfast joint, freakin french toast was on point!

Seeing true sun for the first time in seven days in Oakland today.

It's line the smoke just disappeared overnight.

They saying the same thing can happen in reverse day-to-day though.

Ayyeeeee. I'm glad you liked it bro :pimp:

Hope you have the time to check out the other spots too

im tryin my best to squeeze it in the sched, right now we try a find a bar/lounge that play good music (hip-hop) would be the preferred choice

Man, I may not be the best at making recommendations. Having a kid changed the game for me

But I'm guessing you'll be in the city? Hitting up the mission is usually koo. Check out a spot called Brunos for hip hop to start the night and see where the night takes you :pimp:

Other clubs like Temple or Hue are cool too for hip hop. Haven't been in awhile though. Not sure if those are still "in" or not :lol
