The Elder Things arrive on Earth. They land in the Antarctic Ocean and found their first city there. The Elder Things create the proto-shoggoth, which in turn produces other creatures that act as servitors and food.
900 million BC.
By this time, Elder Thing cities have spread across the oceans of Earth. The Elder Things adapt to land. Many remain in the oceans, however. The Flying Polyps arrive on Earth, and build their basalt towers on the land. They try to expand into the oceans, sparking a bitter war with the Elder Things. Eventually, the Elder Things are victorious.
400 million BC.
The Great Race of Yith, fleeing catastrophe on their home world, transmit their minds into a race of cone-shaped creatures on Earth. They drive the Flying Polyps underground and imprison them there. Following that war, they build their first and greatest city, Pnakotus, in modern-day Australia.
350 million BC.
A cataclysm raises numerous new land masses, such as Ponape and R'lyeh. The disaster also destroys several marine Elder Thing cities. Cthulhu and his kin arrive from the star Xoth, and settle on the newly-risen landmasses. The Elder Things war with Cthulhu, but they eventually make peace. Cthulhu keeps his current surface territories, and the Elder Things keep the rest of the planet. The Deep Ones enter the service of Cthulhu, and help build the city of R'lyeh.
300 million BC.
A certain configuration of the stars changes, resulting in R'lyeh sinking beneath the waves. Cthulhu is imprisoned within the city. The other Great Old Ones are imprisoned around the same time.
250 million BC.
The shoggoths rebel against the Elder Things, but are defeated.
160 million BC.
The mi-go set up a mining operation on Earth.
65 million BC.
Dinosaurs are wiped out. Many Elder Thing cities are also destroyed, including their original settlement in Antarctica. To replace it, a new Antarctic city is constructed.
100,000 BC.
The Thing crashes to Earth in Antarctica.
50,000 BC.
Black ooze first infects cavemen after a fight ensues between an alien and 2 cavemen, in a cave in now what is Texas.

Three "wise" men decide to create The Slayer, to fight the monsters that stalk and kill humanity. A young girl is made the first Slayer against her will, and that trend will continue through the ages.

The Scorpion King leads a great army to conquer the known world
2997 BC.
Predators arrive on the Earth and teach humans how to build pyramids.
2613 BC.
Nephren-Ka, a truly foul pharaoh, rises to power in Third Dynasty Egypt. He revives the worship of dark gods such as Nyarlathotep. The pharaoh Snefru overthrows Nephren-Ka, and his name is utterly erased from Egyptian history. However, the dark religions he rediscovered are not forgotten again. Nephren-Ka and his followers flee to the underground catacombs of Kish, where Nephren-Ka sacrifices a hundred victims to Nyarlathotep. In exchange, Nephren-Ka is given the gift of prophecy, and he spends the rest of his days drawing the future of the Earth on the walls of his tomb.
2200 BC.
Queen Nitocris, the Ghoul-Queen, rises to power in Sixth Dynasty Egypt. She revives the worship of Nyarlathotep once more. She engages in many unspeakable acts during her reign, weakening her nation sufficiently to usher in the First Intermediate Period of Egyptian history.
2150 BC.
The Black Pharaoh, sometimes called Khotep, lives at the end of the Sixth Dynasty of Egypt.
1733 BC.
Nophru-Ka, a Nyarlathotep-worshipper, founds an Egyptian separatist movement. He tries to overthrow Pharaoh Khasekhemre Neferhotep I, but is slain by the ruler. Nophru-Ka's followers are later killed but his line continues on, eventually leading to the Brotherhood of the Beast.
1290 BC.
High Priest Imhotep murders Pharoah Seti I and is then cursed to be mummified alive; Ramesses II succeeds his father Seti I.

Alexander Corvinus is the only survivor of a plague that wiped out his village. Somehow, the man's body was able to mutate the virus, mold it to his own benefit and he become the first true immortal. Later, he had three sons, one of whom did not inherit his father's immortality and was simply human. The other two were bitten, one by bat and one by wolf, creating the Vampire and Werewolf bloodlines.

Abdul Alhazred dies. According to popular lore, he is killed in the marketplace of Damascus by an invisible monster (possibly a Predator?).

The Brotherhood of the Beast is founded in the memory of Nophru-Ka.

The inquisition begins. Quite by chance, the church learns that the supernatural is real and creates the Order of St. George to combat it.

Ashley J. Williams arrives from the future to combat the Army of Darkness.
The Anasazi culture disappears in the Southwest. Attacked or invaded by aliens, some of their elders hide in one particular pueblo that contains magnetite, protecting them from the aliens.

Vlad Tepes, gains the name Vlad the Impaler after impaling thousands of men, women and children outside his cities and as a deterrent against the encroaching Ottoman Empire. Sometime after this, Vlad is transformed into vampire. He takes the name Dracula after the Order of the Dragon, of which he was a member.

A toy maker named Phillip L'Merchant is commissioned to create a puzzle box. This is the Lament Configuration which will allow the Cenobites to enter the mortal world.

Six of the founders of Antonio Bay deliberately sunk and plundered the Elizabeth Dane, a clipper ship owned by Blake, a wealthy man with leprosy who wanted to establish a colony near Antonio Bay. The six conspirators lit a fire on the beach near treacherous rocks, and the crew of the clipper, deceived by the false beacon, crashed into the rocks. Everyone aboard the ship perished. The six conspirators were motivated both by greed and disgust at the notion of having a leper colony nearby. Antonio Bay and its church were then founded with the gold plundered from the ship.

Jack the Ripper stalks the east end of London. He murders five prostitutes before vanishing.
1889.
"Dirt Dragons" (known in future generations as "Graboids") plague a small Nevada desert community; they are killed and the community swears never to mention them again.

Dracula comes to England but is chased back to his castle in Transylvania and believed destroyed.

Eugene Victor Tooms commits a series of five murders in the Baltimore area, but is not captured. An apparent genetic mutation, Tooms has the ability to hibernate and to stretch his body. He begins a pattern of killing five people, taking their livers, and reentering hibernation every 30 years. The only murder to enter police records is of the man who lives upstairs above Tooms' apartment at 66 Exeter Street, Baltimore.

A Predator hunt to their Antarctic temple spreads out onto the surface, where the Predators slay all the workers at a whaling station.

A police raid in the bayou outside New Orleans breaks up a cult dedicated to Cthulhu.

Rasputin is murdered in Moscow. He is restored to life by Morgana and the two of them create the Hellbound cabal.

Between March 23rd and April 2nd, R'lyeh emerges from ocean before sinking back in to the depths.

Evy saves Rick O'Connell from the gallows to lead an expedition to Hamunaptra, where they inadvertently resurrect High Priest Imhotep.

The US military raid the Massachusetts town of Innsmouth and destroy a town corrupted by the worship of the Great Old Ones. This is the military's first official contact with the supernatural and will one day lead them to create Echo Company.

Miskatonic University sponsors an expedition to the Antarctic in search of the fabled Mountains of Madness. Few of the expedition members make it back.

Year of the Scorpion; Imhotep is resurrected once again to fight The Scorpion King.

Hitler joins the Thule Society, a collection of German aristocrats obsessed with the occult.

President Roosevelt forms the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense to fight Hitler.

The Nazis, with Rasputin's help, attempt to open a portal and free the Great Old Ones; a baby demon comes through and US soldiers adopt it.
Scientists of Germany's Third Reich conduct a series of experiments on unwilling human subjects. Generally reviled as inhumane and barbaric, they were intended to be the basis for a eugenics program to improve the race. After Germany surrenders, many of the scientists of the German eugenics program are brought to the United States as part of Operation Paperclip.
1946.
J. Edgar Hoover opens the very first Unexplained Phenomenon case, dealing with lycanthropy. During World War II a series of murders occurs around the Northwest, including seven in Browning, Montana. Each victim is ripped to shreds and eaten, as if by a wild animal. Several of the victims, however, were found at home, as if they had invited their killer into their homes. In Glacier National Park, authorities corner what they believe is this animal in a cabin. They shoot it, but when they enter the cabin to retrieve the dead animal they find only the body of Richard Watkins. The murders stop. Hoover locks the cases away in the X-Files, because they are unsolved. The Unexplained Phenomenon cases are initially filed under "U" in the Washington DC FBI office. They will later be moved to the roomier "X" drawer and will come to be known as "X-Files".
1947.
A Grey scout craft crashes to earth at Roswell, New Mexico.
A super-secret meeting of representatives of many nations meets in 1947 to agree that any alien survivors of UFO crashes shall be exterminated.
The Top Secret US Government project known as Majestic 12, or MJ-12, is created, possibly by a special classified executive order of President Truman on 24 September, 1947.
1953.
Majestic-12 begins flying aircraft using antigravity propulsion systems taken from crashed alien spacecraft. It is learned that antigravity propulsion operates by bending space-time. It is also learned that lost time is a common symptom of close proximity to antigravity propulsion systems.
1956.
Unbeknownst to the Majestic-12, a group of Pod Seeds that were floating through space land in a small town in California by the name of Santa Mira. Strange reports suddenly arise of unusual plants growing in peoples' backyards and family members disappearing only to reappear later seemingly dead and covered with plants. All this was dismissed at first by the local doctor, Dr. Miles Bennell, but slowly through careful investigation by himself and a colleague they were able to discover the truth and alert the authorities who contacted Majestic-12 which quickly contained the incident before any of the pods or "pod people" could escape the city limits.

Michael Myers is born. He is chosen by an occult group to bear the Mark of Thorn, which grants supernatural strength and resurrection in return for the sacrifice of the chosen one's family.

Hitler actually dies, World War II actually ends.
1962.
The first appearance of the Stephen Brothers Carnival, as it rolls into the Midwest town of Green Town, one October afternoon.
The ocean liner Antonia Graza disappears at sea with no trace.
1963.
The young Michael Myers murders his older sister and is sent to an insane asylum.
1967.
An ambitious U.S.S.R. sends a manned flight to Mars. They encounter some kind of alien entity before all communication is lost. The event is kept top secret.
1968.
The dead arise in a remote corner of Pennsylvania. This rise of zombies lasts for a couple days before being put down by Echo Company and other military personnel. The events are largely covered up.
1968.
The parents of Springwood burn Freddy Kruger alive for the murder of their children. He is granted a form of immortality by a trio of "dream demons" so that he may continue his former works.
After years of research, the Umbrella Corporation is established, based in Raccoon City.
1969.
American astronauts land on the moon. They report sightings of possible alien craft. This information is withheld from the public.
The Umbrella Corporation begins construction on a top secret Antarctic research facility.
1973.
A carload of unfortunate teenagers encounter the sinister Sawyer family, and most are slain by the hideous "Leatherface."
State Department staff members have learned that the aliens encountered at Roswell are planning to colonize Earth in a process that will kill all humans. For reasons that are not completely clear, the Colonists negotiate to delay the colonization while the members of the Project develop both a means of distributing the alien Black Oil virus, as well as develop a race of human-alien hybrids that is immune to the Black Oil. The operatives of the project take a vote and agree to work with the Colonists as a way of stalling for time while they try to develop a defense against the Black Oil. In this way, the Conspiracy is born, and the new Consortium is not controlled by any government.
1975.
Police Chief Martin Brody ends a bloody summer long killing spree by a giant Great White Shark off the coast of Amity Island.
1978.
A second and more widespread zombie outbreak emerges once again in the Pennsylvania area. Though the majority of zombies are eventually dealt with and the event swept under the rug, a few of the shambling dead get away to reappear over the next few years.
Michael Myers escapes from the asylum and returns home to Haddonfield, looking to kill his surviving sister.
1980.
A series of grisly murders occurs at Camp Crystal Lake. Jason Vorhees strikes again and again over the next decade.
Blake and his drowned crew return to extract revenge upon the descendents of those who killed him a hundred years earlier, shrounded in an unnatural fog.
1981.
The Umbrella Corporation creates the first practical sample of the "T-Virus."
1982.
Personnel at a remote Antarctic base find an extraterrestrial creature frozen in the ice. It thaws and is able to take on the form of any life form it has "absorbed."
1983.
John Winchester rescues his two sons, Sam and Dean, from a demon that destroys there home and kills their mother. He trains his sons to fight the supernatural.
The inhabitants of Silent Hill vanish and the town becomes a ghost town.
1984.
Freddy Kruger returns from the dead to continue his murders, by killing his victims in their dreams.
A group of three parapsychologists are kicked out of New York City's Colombia University for their outrageous studies and beliefs. These men created a way to catch and contain supernatural entities. Using this knowledge they open their own private firm to fight the supernatural for profit. The "ghostbusting" business became very successful and they have gone on to stop world ending supernatural invasions on the city's dime.
1985.
Several small towns in Florida are overrun with zombies. A select team of scientists with military guard are assigned to capture and study the undead.
1987.
A team of soldiers encounter a Predator in the jungles of South America.
1988.
Michael Myers escapes again and continues his murderous spree.
Charles Lee Ray, the notorious "Lakeshore Strangler", is shot and mortally wounded by Federal Detective Mike Norris while fleeing the police. Before dying, Charles takes cover inside a toy store with a liquidation of the Play Pals "Good Guy" dolls and uses a voodoo ritual in order to transfer his soul into one of the dolls. The store is then struck by lightning and it burns to the ground.
Umbrella Corporation's "T-Virus" is finally completed.
1989.
The trio of paranoid conspiracy theorists known as The Lone Gunmen meets and begins working together.
1990.
The hidden city, Midian, is destroyed forcing its monstrous inhabitants to spread to the four corners of the world.
Graboids terroise the Nevada community of Perfection.
1992.
For a time the Pinhead cenobite escapes imprisonment and runs amok in Los Angeles until he is forced back into hell.
After two years with the FBI, Dana Scully is assigned to the X-Files. Mulder initially distrusts Scully, believing she has been assigned to debunk his work. At face value, her assignment is to bring a rigorous scientific perspective to the cases. In fact, Scully really HAS been assigned to debunk the X-Files by the international conspiracy that feels Mulder's work is dangerous to them.
1996.
STARS (Special Tactics and Rescue Squad) is set up in Raccoon City.
Graboids arise again in Mexico.
1997.
A predator stalks gang members and cops in Los Angeles.
1998.
Michael Myers returns once again.
The "T-Virus" is released into the underground facility beneath Raccoon City. It reanimates the dead as flesh-eating zombies and mutates living creatures. Later in the year the virus spreads into the population of Raccoon City. The city is blockaded by the military to prevent further spread of the infection. Eventually the order is given for an air strike to destroy Raccoon City.
Buffy Summers becomes the latest Slayer, settling into Sunnydale, California.
1999.
Aerial photos show that there is still mutant life in the ruins of Raccoon City.
2001.
The Initiative sets up shop temporarily in Sunnydale. After the escape of a created monster, the facility is closed.
2002.
A team of maritime salvagers are led to the "ghost ship" of the Antonia Graza by a mysterious collector of souls lost on board the ship. The ship is sunk, with only one survivor.
The world is almost destroyed by a hellgod, named Glorificus. Only through the sacrifice of Buffy Summers is the apocalypse averted.
2003.
Jason Vorhees and Freddy Kruger fight over the teenagers of Springwood.
2004.
One of the Predator training sites beneath the Antarctic ice is activated. A team of scientists are caught up in the battle between the Predators and the Aliens they hunt. On the return trip, the Predator ship crashes back to Earth releasing aliens and a alien-predator hybrid queen into a small Colorado town. A Predator is dispatched to contain it, but the town is destroyed by the military with a low yield nuke to contain the threat. Echo Team performs clean up.
Rasputin returns to destroy the world using Hellboy, and is believed killed.
The world is again threatened by an entity called The First. Sunnydale is destroyed when the Hellmouth collapses, destroyed by Buffy Summers as she thwarts The First.
2006.
Sam and Dean Winchester team up again after their father disappears while on a "hunting trip." They soon learn that he is on the trail of the demon that killed their mother.
2007.
During an investigation by Sam and Dean Winchester, a gateway to Hell is temporarily opened allowing a horde of demons to escape onto the Earth.
2010.
Jason Vorhees is captured by the Initiative. All attempts to execute him fail and it is decided that he will undergo cryonic freezing. When he escapes, the facility is frozen and sealed to prevent his escape.
2040.
Experimental spaceship Event Horizon disappears while testing a new form of propulsion.
2047.
The Event Horizon reappears above Neptune. The rescue ship that is sent to investigate finds that she has been to another dimension (possibly the hell of the cenobites), before it disappears again.
2122.
The commercial towing vessel Nostromo encounters a distress signal from planet LV426. They have a nasty encounter with an Alien which leaves one crew member alive and the Nostromo destroyed.
2127.
Paul Merchant, last member of his family line, creates a space station that is in fact a means of destroying the Cenobites forever. He is successful in this task.
2179.
Planet LV426 (Acheron) has been colonised. When the colonists are directed to check out the site of an alien craft they set in motion a chain of events that will lead to the entire colony being overrun by aliens. The aliens are destroyed when the colony's reactor explodes. The survivors crash on prison planet Fiorina 161, where the locals are again stalked by an alien.
2379.
The military manage to obtain some of Ripley's blood and attempt to clone her and recover an alien queen. After several attempts they are successful but the ships is soon overrun by the aliens. The survivors escape and crash the ship into South America, destroying the aliens.
2403.
The Earth has become a toxic wasteland. A scientific research ship uncovers a frozen Jason Vorhees and releases him with murderous consequences...
