Curious to know what other KINE grads are doing career wise aside from the typical trainer/gym manager/etc.

I'm about to start my CSCCa internship this summer hopefully.  Being a S&C coach is something I always found interesting and def wouldn't mind going in that direction.  Just tryna do things to keep my options open later on.
I def wish i kept my options more open. Found a decent paying FT job right out of school (pays $45K starting salary), bought a car, and now kind of stuck for at least a few years...
Was recently looking into going back to school and could get my DPT done in ~3.5 years but will have to put that on hold until I pay off my car...

Communications/Econ (Finance) Double major

Tried finance jobs, was over it.

Interned at labels for a good 8 months.

Working at a pr/event planning firm the past year but gave my 2 weeks last week.

Pros: Dope perks, meet and work with cool people, celebs, vendors, etc.

Cons: The crunch time leading up to events becomes hell and chaos. lol

Communications majors just gotta find their own lane, cuz ur degree doesn't set a career path for u at all.

I graduate this May
Major: Criminal Justice
Minor: Psychology
Im hoping to get on with Cincinnati Police and work my way up to SWAT and eventually Homicide detective
Unfortunately looks like nobody is hiring anytime soon

Graduated in 2008 with a BA in Social Studies 7-12
Will be graduating this coming fall with a Masters in Special Education

Currently I work in the South Bronx as a Middle School Social Studies Teacher (6th/7th grade)-hate this position..kids have no regard for life..don't respect you..don't care about succeeding..want everything handed to them..

In general I love teaching but it is very tough in my field right now..but I am gonna finish my masters and hopefully locate a position as a special ed teacher *hopefully this year*

Electrical Engineer graduated August 2011, SJSU. Jobless. Didn't do my research, should have applied for internships, pretty much every full time position requires previous experience. Currently studying for the EIT (engineer in training) certification exam. If it comes down to it I will probably go back to school.

Keep looking man. I didn't have any internship experience and was able to find a job (I did EE at Poly). It took a lot of interviews and applications

but luckily I started looking in the beginning of my senior year and found something a week before grad. One thing I would recommend is to look outside of the Bay Area also if you aren't already. I had to move to Sac but it's been worth it because I can get my PE here in a year and a half.

BA: Psychology

MS: Psychology in Applied Behavioral Analysis (this June)

Currently am a special education aide at a school district and behavioral therapist/consultant.

PROS: Get to work in the community, go to Disneyland with clients, malls, stores, etc.

Hope to get a job as an autism specialist or behavioral specialist in a school district after I graduate.
