lol i don't think it's photoshopped, i read that was a boo-boo in the cheerdance competition. i'd be extremely embarrassed if i was one the holding that.

They said Thursday, but if ever it won't be in Araneta (cause of Fall Out Boy).

wat a way to go back for dlsu....winning the most crucial game this year against admu, i just hope they'd reach the finals and hopefull win the championship, imo they can beat ue or any team in the league only if they can keep their composure in the end game/4th quarter
 
LO and BEHOLD... the tides have turned... What looked like a nightmare season for DLSU ended on a positive note at the end of the eliminations. ADMU meanwhile, has to go back and rethink how they let this season end up the way it did.

The Blue Eagles barely got past NU in the first round, and with the OT loss, Ateneo basically gave the #2 spot to DLSU. Hey, I know better than to bet on Ateneo going 3-0 against La Salle in one season. While it was just a 1 pt win by La Salle (noting Ilad was not there), it was that important game that mattered that the Archers won. La Salle will still have a daunting task... after all, UE is in the way, but at least they need just another win to make it to the finals. News is that Ilad's career in the UAAP is officially over. With a 5 game suspension... that basically takes him out for the remainder of the playoffs. Kinda weird that the board REFUSED to accept Cordero's recommendation of a 2-game suspension while they readily accepted his recommendation to junk La Salle's protest against Ateneo (hey, i'm not being biased here but let's face it, Ateneo broke the rules... didn't matter if it didn't alter the outcome of the game - its like saying you can go ahead stealing P100 but not P100000). Oh well.

Good luck to the remaining teams. I honestly think any of the teams could win it all. UST has superman Cruz and his cast of 6'3 wingmen. ADMU has Tiu, Salamat, and Arao who when all 3 are playing well, could beat ANY team. DLSU will rely on foul-prone Maierhoffer, Casio, Tang, and Villanueva. While UE has that 12 man deep roster...

you know, i always kinda rooted for la salle since the time of jun limpot, and even did a quarter there one summer when i was bored, but i recently saw the replay of that game, and it was a really really cowardly move by ilad to punch a guy from behind, especially 'cause the lone warrior was being pushed towards the la salle bench by two archers.


and that's probably one of the things i hate about the philippines - yung mga pakialamero. to me, if one guy has a problem with another, they should just solve it between the two of them. i hate how a group of guys will just gang up on one guy just 'cause the other guy's their boy.


it's really senseless. i remember in high school, a pinoy and a korean guy got in an argument over a parking space (or maybe someone scratched the other's car, i forget the exact details of the incident). the next friday after school, they had the "filipino-korean war" at a vacant lot in corinthian gardens - a 20 on 20 rumble.. for what? for pride and parking space. :smh:

^your school did their best...but they are just outplayed/outrebounded/outhustled by ADMU players esp. baclao..mirza is out of nowhere same with ****..if he only sink those FT's..plus medyo minalas si Jervy nun huli..well ADMU vs. DLSU...goodluck!

if admu beats dlsu in the first game there would be 5 ateneo dlsu games this year which should more or less make up for the 1 year absence of dlsu hehe but hoping dlsu finishes it right away..... go animo.....thurs sched btw

kinda ironic, last year i was in admu, the tigers beat the eagles in the finals. now im in ust, the eagles knocked out the tigers. lol. oh well..

another sorry loss for dlsu.......so far all their losses have been come from behind.....it seems like the archers usually break down during crunch time......and in admu's case, chris tiu wins it for them.......it was already a won ball game for dlsu had they took better shot selection in the last 2 min or so........chris tiu is money in crucial times......reminisce of ren ren for dlsu......

btw some dlsu players were wearing azk 2 lites as said by air popoy......not bad imo.......
