You may want to look into offsite backup.
For work I use MozyPro. Its not that bad (costwise) and is very user friendly. If you are just backin up your porn collection or whatever, it's probablynot worth paying for, but if you got real sensitive data like databases and stuff, you might wanna check it out.
I believe Mozy also offers services for individuals, and its free for up to 1GB or something. Its not much space, but hey... better than nothing right.
