my other picks though are:

Wilt's 50.4 ppg average
MJ's 33.4 ppg post season average (anytime soon)
Wilt's 55 rebounds in a game

I thought the most career 3s by reggie miller broken would never be broken, but ray allens only 500 behind. He could break that in 3 more good seasons

Worst record in the NBA
Philidalphia 76ers: 9-73

I believe thats what it is. Correct me if I'm wrong.

My favorite record that will most certainly never be broken:

Wilt Chamberlain's 48.5 minutes per game in a single NBA season.

That will definitely be broken IMO. When? Who knows but I can see it happening within 10-15 years. The Cal Ripken record is amazing IMO. I honestly cannever see that being broken.

Most points, game
186 - Detroit at Denver, December 13, 1983 (3 OT)

Most points, both teams, game
370 - Detroit (186) at Denver (184), December 13, 1983 (3 OT)

they just did a feature on this game the other night when the two teams played, so it was fresh in my head

Most points, one quarter - George Gervin, 33

That is 2 laker injuries away from being gone.
A good quarter for a team is about 30 points.

I just don't see an individual player scoring more than 30 in one quarter.
