Unpopular Opinion(s) Thread

I got an opinion or maybe its a theory from my cousin, who has been in sports medicine for years, been an athletic train on pro teams and a personal trainer etc...just to give some background on his thoughts. He said this about 2 years ago and still says it:

There is no way that Lebron James has played his career and gone without 1 major injury without using some sort of PEDs or drug. He says it is physically impossible to play all those years and minutes and never have some sort of ankle, knee injury where you missed an extended amount of time. He thinks around the Miami years is were he really got into because that area is know for PED's and a lot of baseball players use to go down there to get their fix. He says the NBA is in on it that's why he has never got caught.

Yes and No

You can be removed FROM a Casino if you are suspected of counting cards.

You can be removed FROM NikeTalk for posting porn. That doesn’t make it illegal.

And again, a casino has every right to block or limit your action if they feel you have an edge. It sucks, but it’s their right.

Should have put "illegal" in quotes, as that's what they'll tell you before whooping your *** on the way out. "Hey that's illegal pal". Obviously doesn't mean they violated a real state law. Just the "law" of that casino.
So, I am wondering where the confusion lies.

youngwolf youngwolf How are you defining Illegal? (In the scope of this conversation)

I come in Peace

LeBron James is going to go down as the most important athlete in the world, after Muhammad Ali.

Now a days theres a million sensors on our cars. Street lights need the same sensitivity. Theres 5 times as many people from when lights were first constructed. Sensitivity > timers.
True but I don’t think it’s the lights in general. Most Humans are naturally dumb drivers. Ever wonder why the far right lane is the fastest in traffic

Rachel is dumb for getting off the plane, and Ross a selfish bum for letting her. Couldn't & wouldn't have been me. Terrible message.

If that was one of my sister's I'm slapping them upside the head.

Everyone knows he sacrificed his hair, not PEDs. Come on man all the greats have done this.

How is this an unpopular opinion?

Tipping makes absolute sense. It’s some BS, but waiters/waitresses can’t really serve their function without it.

It makes sense from the POV of the employER that doesn't have to pay their workers fair wages, sure. Push the guilt and responsibility to the customer.

It is so backwards.

Exactly. How did the concept of tipping those workers become the norm? Why can’t they be paid respectfully by the business employing them?!

See this is because the idea of servers is so old we forgot the point. Their job is not to just to bring food, their actual job is to kiss your ***. What incentive would a person have to kiss a customers *** if how their pay wasn’t directly dependent on how well the customer felt their *** was kissed?

Honestly, it doesn't even matter why it originally started.

It is 2020.

Pay your workers a fair wage like every other business has to do.

And I get what you’re saying. I’m just saying I understand it. Funny thing tho, I never heard anyone who actually worked as a server who has ever said. In fact, I know an engineer that will pick up a waitress gig because “easy money”. Idk *shurgs*
