I really dont remember having to much trouble with him. I did have the Magus Sisters and Anima putting in work so I guess it was the cheap the way to beat him

If Ramza didn't have Teleport, you were done for.  I think there was another one that was pretty difficult... the stage w/ the Assassin's that would kill you w/ one touch every time. I beg to differ.

This battle screwed you over in many ways if it was your first time playing through the game. If you didn't save your game outside the castle or properly equip Ramza with the right skills before going against this dude, you have to restart your game from the very beginning.
