Anyone try that unofficial CM rom for the N5?

I was just in the thread, they took the link down it looks for having problems...

I think im going to throw on SlimKat, im reading the thread right now, looks pretty good

Yeah I ran A stable CM 10 and that joint was buggy. Not a fan of CM at all

I didn't like kangabean so I went back to stock. For some reason battery seemed to drain faster on that rom.

CM has and will always suck balls compared to PA, AOKP, Vanir, etc.

Af1 1982 I'm not sure it will pick up.. The phones been out a while and there isn't much activity going on in the development section.. However at least there is something going on

Will do! Might not be until later tonight though, I like to flash roms on a full battery

And agree with KingFoamNYC on that cm is one of those super overrated roms. It was once the King and people ride it to the death even if it has been passed up by other roms

Any reccomended ROMs for the galaxy nexus gsm edition? I'd like to have it serviceable in case something happens to my N5.

I have paranoid android. Its the first rom I have ever flashed but I like it. I do plan on checking some others out at some point so yeah PLS RESPOND

Also is this high amount of usage normal? I don't use a ton of apps during the day

To me it's pretty quiet even at a high volume. I've heard it's loud in some apps quiet in others.. Could be a software thing iono.. But right now to me it's pretty quiet

MKBHD just reviewed the nexus 5, he pretty much nailed it. Speaker sucks, battery is not that great and camera is average.

For the price tho its still in a league of its own

I aint gonna lie when he said if you want a high end phone with top of the line specs and he said the HTC One i was like im surprised he didnt say G2 instead of the S4 tho

Imagine if the G2 had BoomSound game over im out the phone game

Mkbhd is definitely my favorite reviewer.. Haven't watched the review but if he said the HTC one then he's right.. Still one of my favorite phones it had it all except battery life.. But the development was made that phone even better

Edit: great review.. I'm in that group that know I want this phone definitely not for everyone but a flashaholic it's awesome
