Does the g2 have much of a dev community? At 449 it seems a better but than the nexus to me
From what I've seen so far nope.. had some devs selling their phone in the AT&T section because it was active enough

edit: wasn't* active enough

Oh ok, wait so is the G2 449 or what? I could have sworn I saw it for that much but when I logged into my VZW its 549

Basically a developer will make a flashable zip at some point that allows that beat software :hat. Since the speaker isn't good already I am more looking forward to it for headphone purposes. Only a matter of time.

Kangabean + Franco's kernel on the N5 does wonders for the battery. 4 hours and 15 minutes OST with 18% left. Appreciate it Carver for shedding the light about this combo.

:hat

Francos got his 8th release out too maybe I'm just late.. Gonna flash it on my nexus

One thing I can say about the G2 is the buttons on the back aren't as bad as I thought.. My fingers found themselves right on the button.. The knock knock is a great feature...... When it works. There are times where I have to hit the screen like 6 times

I went from the S3 to the Note 3 and I love it in almost every way. If I had to knit pick, I'd say the signal strength doesn't seem to be as strong as my S3 but that's about it.

The Note 3 is fast, beautiful screen, battery is great, and it feels well built to me. The size was an issue like the first two days but you get used to it pretty fast...
anyone else? nothing bad to say about this phone? seems to good to be true. I walked around with a buddy's note 2 at work yesterday just to see how it would feel in pocket for a few minutes. I never sat down though. It's still not a hassle sitting down with this thing in jeans? Like 514 levi's for example? That's not a super skinny jean but it is slim. Can you get the phone out of jeans while sitting? Or do you have to lift your hips to get it out?

Carver how you like the camera on the G2? I think mine was faulty or something cuz i didnt really like the results compared to my One.

Not as good as I thought it'd be considering people said it was one of the best cameras on Android. It is good when you talk about modes and whatnot like shot & clear, time catch, intelligent auto. There are options a lot better than what I remember on my one and n5..But regular picture shots I was not crazy impressed.

What I am impressed about is the battery lived up to the hype :eek 12 hours unplugged 3 on screen and I'm at 51% :x if you're a power user don't sleep on this phone. Thats with a lot of Web browsing and kakao chatting which can rape some batteries.

I wish more people supported this phone on this thing could be a beast.. could be

But the One has the worst camera outta all the top phones out.
You really think so? I think its a good camera, i cant think of another android phone (only the lumia 925 and 1020 are bit better) that can even touch it in low light situations. I guess i just need a phone that can take really good low light pics and the One does that perfectly. Plus you have the wide lens that lets you see WAY more than most other smartphone cameras and it also has OIS.

Lol I'm talking full retail street prices typically LG phones have horrid value for example the LG spectrum devices were high end but didn't sell at all, since I don't work in wireless anymore I don't know how customers are looking at te g2 but if history is still the same I assume most people are buying s4 note 3 and ONE
