Samsung Galaxy Mega 7.0 (or Mega 2) was cleared  yesterday by USA's FCC. It supposed to be a massive 7" device, with thin waistline and all-round connectivity that includes full telephony support. That's just like its Mega 6.3  predecessor only on an even larger scale.

There aren't any other specs beside the screen size leaked to date, but we can now show you how the device is supposed to look like thanks to a case maker.

Sure, some of you will categorize the Mega 7.0 as a tablet and not a phablet, but just remember it is supposed to be really thin and light device and you can actually use it as a phone.

Anyway, Samsung is holding a press event on June 12 where the Galaxy Tab S lineup of slates will go official. Maybe the Galaxy Mega 7.0 will participate too.
HTC has reportedly canceled the One (M8) Prime
One down and one to... be canceled? Some time after the HTC One (M8) was announced rumors started flying around of two new versions of the M8 – Ace and Prime. Yesterday a plastic, China-bound Ace went official  under the name HTC One Vogue edition, but today evleaks  is reporting the One (M8) Prime  has been postponed indefinitely.

The rumor mill was describing  an LG G3 competitor – 5.5" QHD screen, Snapdragon 805 chipset, 18MP/5MP dual-camera and a ceramic body. The unveiling was supposed to take place in September, but now that's put into question.

We can only speculate why this has happened – if indeed it happened at all, HTC never officially confirmed the One (M8) Prime, let alone announce that it's canceling it. Still, HTC One (M8) buyers can breathe a sigh of relief, they didn’t get the short changed with a lesser flagship.

By the way, Samsung is reportedly working on a premium Galaxy S5 too (which it has officially denied). Wonder what's going to happen with that one?

Module came out that allows you to use "Ok Google" with third party launchers.

Life is complete now. It works too. It was something minor, I rarely use the OK google thing but its just nice that they're working on things like this.
This already stopped working for me. Did a hard reset of my phone and then went back and got it with KK Launcher and now nothing.

Anyone else even using it?

I'm actually the opposite. I have a Note and an iPad but I use my note much more. Granted I have an iPad 2 which is finally starting to show its age.

I will probably cop the next gen iPad because I used it a lot for reading. No matter what I will probably always have to have some sort of android device from now on tho. Right now I use an iPhone 4s/ Note 3/ iPad (occasionally). I have too much tech but its a good set up

I'm with this guy.

I don't even have a note....got a Nexus 4 with a 4.7" screen. I just prefer using a one-handed device over the iPad Air for pretty much everything. The iPad is basically a $400 Clash of Clans player for me. One of the biggest, regrettable purchases I've made.

Triz, if you're getting an iPad mainly for your kid, stick with the lower-end mini.
