question I have for you guys - another "new to android question"

So the charger and cable I got with my Note 4 is plugged into an outlet in my living room, I use that for the "fast charging."

I bought 2 more cables (from Android Shop) - one I use plugged into my computer for file transfers and such and the other is a backup.

When it's plugged into my charger in the outlet - it chargers super quickly. When it's plugged into the cable in my computer it chargers SUUUUUUPER slow - like I'm talking 1-2 % boost in a half hour...why is that? Is there a way to have it charge faster when on the computer?

That's how it goes. The fast charging is the voltage they're using in the wall plug thingy thingy.

Interested in hearing what y'all have against Hangouts. Been using it ever since sms was implemented and I love it.

Gonna wait a lil bit before I get lollipop on my N5 to see what the main issues are if there are any. I'll let others be the guinea pigs

It still amazes me how you guys are all about Textra like you are

I think I had posted it before, I just don't get it, but then again, all my friends have gmail accounts for the most part and use the IM portion of Hangouts. I even just changed the Messaging app on my wife's home screen to the Hangouts app and made it the default and she never even noticed, lol.

Anyone else I can message like normal and send pictures as well. To me, the only thing they need to implement, and I still have no clue why it doesn't have it, is a quick reply so I don't have to go in the app every time to send a reply.

usb is low current compared to a wall outlet

also, i use hangouts cause i use google voice for texts, but simpler is better in the case of messenger from google.

it's really quick, well-laid out & easy to read

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge appears to have successfully made its way to US carriers for purchase. Shocker, I know. Unlike its taco-shaped cousin, who enjoyed a brief stint in overseas markets before settling into its rightful life as a proof-of-concept, the Galaxy Note Edge apparently showed enough promise or received enough of a positive response to convince AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile that people might actually buy one. Actually, let me re-phrase that. The Galaxy Note Edge and its insanely high price tag, for reasons that have escaped our minds since the device was surprisingly unveiled on stage alongside the Galaxy Note 4, can be purchased by human beings at a couple of carriers who have lost their minds.

T-Mobile is selling the Galaxy Note Edge today for $0 down and 24 equal monthly payments of $36.25. If you don’t feel like signing up for a payment plan, T-Mobile will gladly let you into the Note Edge for $870.

If you want an even better deal (yes, that would be sarcasm), you can buy the phone from AT&T for $399 with a 2-year contract. They also have three device payment plans of their own, with monthly payments starting as low as $31.54. Oh, you could also buy the Note Edge without a contract for $945.99.

But clearly, Sprint has the best deal of all. For $429.99, a 2-year contract, and your right hand, you can own the Note Edge. If you feel like keeping all of your limbs, you could opt for a monthly payment plan or buy the phone outright for $840.

Verizon, at this time, appears to have kept its sanity and is not selling the Galaxy Note Edge.

If you are dying to know more about the Galaxy Note Edge, here are plenty of pictures, videos, and specs.

Update: Apparently this slanted thing has been available at AT&T for a while. T-Mobile and Sprint are the newest to get it.

Who lined up this morning?!?!

The price tag on the Edge :x :smh:

I had issues with group MMS on it, something I never had on Textra

When's the last time you've tried it? Only issue with group MMS I've had was some duplicate texts every now and then
Not trying to defend it or anything, just found it odd that the majority in here doesn't seem to like it since it's been really stable for me

I was using hangouts for a while because my mms wouldn't work with textra. Had no problems with it. I just hate that it didn't have quick reply.
