Samsung had a great deal on the watch ultra so l had to cop. It's smooth as butter and you can't fully grasp the look of it until it's on your wrist. They gave me 300 for my watch 4 classic.
Which color did you get?

Not sure what to do. Kind of want to upgrade to the Pixel 9 Pro as I want the better "guts" and camera than my current Pixel 8 (non-Pro) has, in a smaller size than the XL version.

Right now I can buy it through Google Fi, which is the service I use, and get $350 off the price. If I trade-in my Pixel 8 256GB, they'll give me $190. Total "savings" would come out to $350 + $190 = $540 "off" the MSRP. $190 for the trade-in is kind of whack, as it looks like they sell for around $400 in my version. So I could also sell it myself for $350-400 + get the $350 off = $700 "off" the MSRP.

or

I can buy it through the Google store for full price, but they just sent me a 10% discount code which knocks off about $100, plus I have $60 in Google store credit, plus they'll give me $490 for my Pixel 8 trade-in. Total "savings" would come out to $100 + $60 + $490 = $650 "off" the MSRP. j

or

I could wait to see what the Black Friday deals are, but part of my Google store credit expires Nov 21st. I bought the Pixel 8 256GB last year for $749 minus $160 "discount" + $300 trade-in for my Samsung S22.

I'm in a similar spot. I'm trying to get the P9P and trade in this S24Ultra I bought at the beginning of the year with Google Fi discount. Right now I can get $650 (what I paid in January) from the Google store trade in. For whatever reason S24U isn't eligible yet on Fi site. Can't decide whether to just do the trade in and get back what I paid or risk trade in price going down, but getting a better black friday deal. I really dropped the ball trading this in during the preorder at best buy I think when they were giving like $1k. I wasn't really paying attention at that point.

Didn't know phones with batteries this big existed

Is there any way I can fix this text message issue I'm having coming from iPhone?

I'm not receiving texts anymore I think due to either iOS18 or simply because everyone has a iPhone nowadays...

Were you on iOS before? If so, you have to deregister your number from iMessage

Is Samsung sorry for failing to innovate, or just sorry sales are down?

Samsung's vice chairman of Samsung Electronics' DS Division, Jeon Young-hyun, issued a rare apology for the company's failure to innovate.
The release comes after Samsung's most recent phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, reportedly aren't selling well.
Additionally, recent reports from International Data Corporation show that Samsung is losing smartphone market share while its competitors are gaining it.

That special edition 6 is a Korean exclusive or something like that. Not scheduled to release in the States

I think I'm gonna buy this pixel 9 pro. My pixel 8 isn't bad, but I've wanted the better camera / RAM only previously offered in the larger screen version Pros.

They're giving me $490 for my Pixel 8 on trade-in, plus $150 off for being Google One subscriber, plus I have $59 in Google store credit, plus 5% bonus when using PayPal with my Chase Freedom card, plus 2% rakuten.

Was trying to wait to see if other Black Friday deals were gonna pop up, but I figure they'll give a bigger discount then but lower trade-in values.

Ha! I saw a post on Reddit about the Google One discount code just now. My wife had subscribed a few months ago while backing up photos. I'm hoping I can use the code tomorrow since I'm on the account as well. $150 + $650 trade for S24U and the P9P makes it a no brainer. I keep thinking how pissed I'll be when they reduce trade-ins with the BF deals.
