and it couldn't hold a charge.

You should have waited, the iphone 5 is around the corner. People who bought the Verizon Iphone4 are sheep(yes, you too). You never want to be stuck with the old tech with a 2-year contract. I'll return the ip4 wait it out with the envy or let verizon give you a loaner phone for the mean time and copp the thunderbolt on release day. You don't have to root Android to have free apps, but its recommend not to install from 3rd party marketplaces, and anyway most of the good Android apps are free(Ad revenue pays for it and you could block the ads with Adfree app[only rooted phones])

I didn't know LTE 4G require a SIM card, hmmmmmmmmmmm wonder if it will configure to gsm networks, and given that verizon is using cdma chip inside the phone will allow you to flash it on any cdma network, if an XDA member can create a toolkit for that

............off to do some micro-research

^ id return the iphone 4 if i were you... it being lte and you can use internet and be on the phone at the same time is a deal breaker for me... and i wanted the iphone to begin with but i have to pass... in plus flash makes a difference too me... i just got my incredible in august so im not due for an upgrade anytime soon... i might have to just wait for a better phone may 2012....if i could upgrade now id get either the thunderbolt or bionic...and if your returning your iphone do it before 14 days... they are releasing the thunderbolt 14 days after iphone because once people find out about the simultaneous voice and data they will want to return it but it will be too late

I think the Tasker app, alone, makes picking up an Android phone more worthwhile than an iPhone.

Then again, maybe the iPhone has something similar to Tasker. I dont know.

Tasker is such a beast though. I had it for a few months already and only set up 1 profile. I just added a couple useful ones and there's still so many other possibilities out there.

I really should buy it in support...

http://www.appbrain.com/app/tasker/net.dinglisch.android.taskerm

Its an app where you can set it up to automate tasks.

For example, I have set up one profile to turn off wifi whenever I leave home and then turn on again when I return back.

Turn off wifi from 5am-10am.

There's so many things you can do. My problem is that I dont know what I want to do

Is it true that Motorola blocked the installing of custom roms? If this is true, I'm passing on the Droid Bionic and copping the Thunderbolt instead.
